Heather tried to get inside Dream Girl's head to give her a nightmare or two, but she was still too battered to focus. Daredevil's radar senses were not enough to penetrate the Witch's magical concealment as he tossed a baton at Valor to try to disorient him.

Dream Girl was suddenly struck by a vision of Mon-El suffering at the hands of the Hulk. So intent was she on warning him that she didn't note the Black Knight swinging the flat of the Ebony Blade to knock her down and out.
Daredevil let fly with a baton, striking Mon-El in the back. The Legionnaire turned at the annoyance, giving Hulk the opening he was looking for. A huge punch and the accompanying roar ("Hulk SMASH Cape-Man!"), by now a familiar combo to the Defenders, staggered even the powerful Mon-El.
