Clixcast Episode 35: Thor! This week Steve and Gudda go over the top 5 Sinister Figures, not your typical picks and they review the Hammer of Thor Chariot now that most people have received theirs, except Steve. Short Podcast this week sorry guys!
I apologize if I sound like a jerk, but guest starring
your kid on your podcast screaming in the background
makes it impossible to listen to for me.
The two of you were concise this time around though and shorter is better.
We had time constraints on this podcast and this was the only time to squeeze it in. Bare with us, we are under construction. Bigger, Better Podcasts are on the way.
Funny thing is though, it's always something, we can't please anyone. ^_^
S.H.I.E.L.D. Troopers are awesome. So cheap and has the TA. I think a lot of people's "favorites" are the big, expensive pieces that are almost begging to let you down.
I'm biased on my top-five, because I mainly play Avengers or X-Men keyword teams. And I listed these pieces with feats because that's how they would look on a team of mine.
My top-five Sinister:
5. Rookie Bullseye w/ Loner
4. Abner Jenkins w/ Stunning Blow
3. Black Bolt w/ Brilliant Tactician
2. Vet Shadowcat w/ Nothing
1. Exp Mockingbird w/ Heightened Reflexes or Nothing
Great take on the Sam Wilson LE. I've found him to just grow in danger. My favorite team around him is (at 300 points anyway) V Mockingbird, OoTS Batman, Dreamgirl, and Sam Wilson carrying Winter Soldier. The only feat I ever use regularly, Contingency Plan, goes on Sam. When you pull two tokens for range on turn two, people never see it coming. I've put six clicks into a R Captain Marvel that hasn't yet pushed in that way.

Haha! Gudda, I'm glad I'm not the only one that notices that the guy in Cake Boss says fondant in a weird way. I feel like that show has to be scripted sometimes. "What ah you's doin'?!"
Great cast, guys.
E Daredevil would have to be one of my favorites in this set in addition to the Spider-Man figures, Kraven the Spider, Bullseye, and Nick Fury.
The length of the podcast was fine. As long as your keeping a good conversation then thats all we can ask for.
I was real suprised by the #1 pick of Shield Trooper Rookie. I never noticed the 5 clicks of life but there is no real offensive force. However, Nick Fury is one of my favorite pieces. I love a figure that you can use so much. He fits well enough on most teams,

True, But where she shines...is her cost and Team Ability which adds either to range or ranged damage attacks, plus her ability to soak up mastermind...She makes a great character to work side by side with Fury, Vet, works well too since she can carry him around, but I prefer the Rookie because of the 5 clicks.

You've convinced me of how effective the Shield Rookie is but I just wouldn't place it as my #1 of the set.
