This Sunday we've got a 500 pt All Generic Theme team tourney. I've been wanting to do a scientist team for a while, and wanting to play The Leader as well.

I still need to come up with some BFCs.

I know it's not the best use of The Leader (not much in the way of TAs for him to copy), but it just looks like a lot of fun to play.

At the very least, I think I've come up with a great new cast for the Real World.

I'm a little worried about the lack of close combat power on the team. How about taking out Klaw and putting in R Thunderball instead?

I would get rid of "Psycho-Man". In my experience, his powers rely too much on Line-of-Fire, and he is far too many points on your team....he simply isn't going to lead to KOs, which is exactly the wrong thing for a 151 point character to contribute.

Almost any of the Marvel "Scientists" from the recent sets are a better use of points: I'd get better use out of two Grey Gargoyles (MoE TA!) than one Psycho Man...and that is not a testament to the GG's great dial.

Hmm, not bad ideas. I'd like to keep Klaw, as he's a solid piece and will serve as my stealth buster, but I'm not especially attached to Psycho Man.

Somehow I missed that Thunderball was a scientist. There aren't a lot of scientist bricks. He also provides another TA for me to copy if I need it.

If you're looking for wacky evil scientist, nobody fills that description better than Chang-Tzu!

Don't think he'd fit well on a team with The Leader though, they fill much the same role.

I would love to play with Chang-Tzu, but I don't own him.

This team (the revised version with Thunderball) did pretty well, but I only got to play one match against a new guy, so I don't really feel like it was properly tested.

You could always throw in a hulk for a brick Scientist...
