DCU Releases For The Week Of 09/13/09-09/19/09 (Spoilers Needed)
:cross-eye
BLACKEST NIGHT #3 (OF 8) - 22 pages of blacked out pages.
ACTION COMICS #881 - Spinning out from the events of Codename: Patriot, Nightwing and Flamebird are at each others' throats while General Lane closes in.
BATGIRL #2 - The new Batgirl (Stephanie Brown) clashes with the underworld and members of the Batman Family who don't particularly want a new Batgirl on the streets.
BATMAN AND ROBIN #4 - Batman and Robin meet Gotham's other dynamic duo, the Red Hood and Scarlet.
JSA VS KOBRA #4 (OF 6) - This still isn't over with.
So I take it you're not liking the JSA/Kobra mini series. Granted it's not the greatest thing I've ever read, but it's not that bad. Maybe I like it because I love the JSA. I dunno.

It just seems to be going slower then it needs to be going. I'm sure when it's done it'll be worth it.
Batman and Robin has been terrible. I don't know why I'm still buying it.
I totally agree. I no longer like Grant Morrison's writing. His Batman stuff, Final Crisis and Batman: R.I.P. were horrible. Frank Quitely's art looks like mashed potato people and unfinished. I don't know why so many people rave about the book and the team of Morrison and Quitely.
Wow, I thought B&R #2 was the best book of the year so far. It's actually a Dynamic Duo we're reading about with all sorts fo fun craziness exploding around them. Scarlet makes an excellent foil for Damien, since he helped "Create" her. That should make this Red Hood arc should be pretty cool.
Of course, I liked RIP, Seaguy and Final Crisis too, so your mileage may vary.

Because
All-star Superman = Awesome
New X-men = Really good but not quite awesome
WE3 = Awesome
JLA: Earth 2 = A neat update of an old story
That's why.
"When the going gets weird, the weird go pro." - Hunter S. Thompson"
"Victim? Victim? Do you think this letter on my chest stands for AMERICA?" - you have been getting insulted by nextwave.
you have to be in the right state of mind to get Grant's work!
I am permanently in that state of mind. I have to disagree with TBB and Azrael0626. I think Morrison's run on Batman and now on Batman & Robin has been spectacular. I am having a blast reading and rereading this stuff.
My planned DC purchases for this week:
Batman & Robin #4
Batman: Streets of Gotham #4
FC Aftermath: Escape #5
JSA vs Kobra #4
Wednesday Comics #11
Blackest Night #3
Brave & the Bold #?
and Ex Machina #45 if we are counting Wildstorm.
edited to add in B&B after reading Max's post.

...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
