Cosmic Boy V + Contingency Plan 68
Garth Ranzz LE 29
Imra Ardeen LE 72
Colossal Boy 115
Brainiac 5 V 58
Duo Damsel LE 46
= 400 on the dot
I don't think the LOSH can feel right below 400.
It's supposed to be a Legion...not a couple decent guys working together...
The only way it'd feel right in 300 would be the Starter Set Original Appearance Version (Cosmic Boy, Young Superman, Saturn Girl & Lightning Lad) but that doesn't have the old school fun feel to it.
The team I think is alright.
Cosmic Boy TKs, hits and ups using Contingency Plan.
Garth takes shots.
Imra Perplexes and Mind Controls small things.
Colossal Boy Defends them all, throws objects and Perplexes also.
Brainiac 5 adds the much needed Outwit and maybe the occasional shot.
Duo Damsel is to be the ultimate pest tying people down with a huge defense and Plasticity.
It has triple theme and the BFC would be Power Dampening Field.
I think if the BFC sticks and the team is played right it has a chance.
The problem a lot of people have with these kinds of teams is not making the most of combining the mildly useful.
You have to really stay back and formulate every turn.
There's lots of ways to up the values with this team and they should all be used every turn possible.
It's not the best team...but if I win with it it'll feel like the best win I've had in a while...probably since the premiere of my Batman: Brave & Bold team.
If the opposing teams proved too dirty for me I'd probably just do something dirty like all newer stuff with Future keyword...Batman Beyond, Dawnstar, Karate Kid, etc.
Ace of the Secret Society of Supervillains Clan!
Yellowjacket (Human) - 100 points of P-Y-M-P - Sweet Papa Doom/BPW
My experience with LSH teams: you have to make sure that you can reliably do 3+ damage with them...especially with many of the older dials this is simply not the case, as many figures end up costing 50+ points with damage values that peak at 2, and often no ranged attack options.
I agree with Tidge. As much as I love playing the Legion, the older dials just don't seem to stack up to the newer ones. Lightning Lad/Garth Ranzz is a prime example. Sure the older one was fun, but the new Lad is amazing.
I can't stand running a Legion team in anything less than 500.
God is smarter than we are....
