Provided the SP's listed on that rumored thread are even a little accurate, Nico's "Staff of One" SP is going to be CRAZY! "Defense - Staff of One: Once during your turn give Nico Minoru a free action, deal her one unavoidable damage and choose a power from the powers and abilities card. Either Nico or another friendly character that Nico has a clear line of fire to may use the chosen power until the beginning of your next turn."
All she takes is one clix of damage per use, but given that she can use that power on herself she can just give herself regen!
What are some of the possible combinations that you guys can think of?
Crisis Darksied with Hypersonic speed
Mastermind with Impervious
Rooftop Bats with Impervious
Sentry/E2 Supes/Ultimate Thor with Flurry
Infinity Challange Ant-man with Defend
Also I had a question. Me and my friends play by house rules. Does clear line of fire in the real rules mean that is has to be within her range of 8 (which is still pretty good mind you) or can it be across the board as long and nothing is blocking?

That's a pretty big provision... from what we've seen it seems a lot of the dials leaked were toned down. I pretty much expect Nico's power to be different in the final version as even the designer seemed to think it might be a little too powerful.

Clear line of fire is in no way dependent on range.

Agreed.
Having said that, giving Zoom(AA) B/C/F.
It would be cool once and then I'd never be able to scrub the dirty feeling off me for having done it.
It is almost upon us! Are you prepared for the Quarmageddon?

i dont think zoom would be able to use that with his hypersonic...
nor would i use this over perplexing him up
as for the OP.
Someone who has 5 damage and running shot and give them pulsewave, or even running shot and high attack, and low damage and give them pulswave to target a bunch of people.
Green arow and 3 target incap or EE would be fun to see (or even pulsewave)
Hitman with pulsewave (while based) with his
hmmmmm.... stealthy darkseid for a turn to protect him?
supersenses to stack onto a fig's imperv or visa versa.
super strength for lian harper.
hmmmm
charge for a high speed character with phasing.
EW for someone with high damage.
HSS for Powerman and iron fist.
Imperv for Powerman and iron fist.
Close Combat expert for a based ranger
Flurry on a charger (bronze tiger)
Prob control on a pog
Support on a high attack fig.
regen mid dial for thanos.
etc

Impervious on FCBD Iron Man/Superman Prime. Can't be damaged unless there's penetrating damage or outwit somewhere on the opposing team. Or just Impervious on an Invulnerable figure or vice versa. Guaranteed 4 damage reduction with the same exceptions.

I think he would.
When Rampaging Hulk was being released I asked on the WK Judges forum if he could target figures on a different elevation with his Squash attack. The official answer was that he could - the fact that the attack was made as a free action apparently did not change the compatibilities of the power, so RH could still use Leap/Climb to target an opponent on a different elevation.
As was the style at the time...

Yes, that's legal. L/C allows close combat actions to hit on different elevations; Quake is a close combat action.
The Zoom combo works in a more roundabout way. HSS only allows a close combat attack, but Zoom's version allows Flurry instead. Because Flurry is a close combat action and B/C/F is activated when a close combat action is used, this broken combination is legal.
God is smarter than we are....
