Umm... you can PC your dice on your turn and your opponent's on his turn. So if you somehow get Outwitted during your own turn, you can PC your own Outsmart roll.
What? Outsmart is a defensive rolls. There are no circumstances that come to mind where a roll made defensively can be rerolled by anyone.
EDIT: Oh, I forgot both players roll in Outsmart. In which case, yes, the Outsmart roll that your opponent forces you to make could be rerolled. By whichever player has PC and wishes to use it that way.
Unless it's one of those situations where a character is not making the roll.. and then it wouldn't be able to be PC'ed by anyone.
I think this is the right answer. Per Outsmart:
Quote
When a power possessed by the character or an adjacent friendly character would be countered by an opposing character's power or ability, you and the opposing character's controller each roll 2d6. If your result is more, the power is not countered instead.
It is you and the other player rolling off, not the characters, so I'd have to say no, it can't be PC'd.
you know what an attack is right?
The attacking player rolls the dice adds it to the attack value of attack character then compare to the defense of target of the attack.
by you own words then you can not prob an attack since the player is making the roll.

Yes, unless you have some very special LE figures that actually roll the dice themselves the player makes all the rolls. That doesn't mean all the rolls can be rerolled though, or even any roll you make on your turn. For example, you can't reroll an Earthquake roll. But thanks for stating the obvious that players and not figures roll the dice.

What i think maraud was getting at was that jusst because the card says you and your oppenent roll doesn't mean it's treated any different than an attack roll
i'd say it can be PC'ed because the character initiates the roll off, (character using outwit) therefor a pc-er would have to draw a line to the character doing the outwitting.
earthquake is a good example but since it is not caused by a character i can see where it wouldnt fall under these rules.

I think that absolutVT is correct.
It's a given that the human players are rolling the dice, but the roll needs to be made for a character. LoF needs to be drawn to the character for whom the roll is being made.
In this case, the roll is not being made for a character.
Yes, absolutvt69 and the others are correct... You are unable to draw line of fire to anything to use the power of probability control on them. There is no valid target as Outsmart specifies that you and your opponent (the controllers of the characters, not the characters themselves) must roll.
