From the Mystery Card thread, assuming this is Cap's SP

Of course you have to give him Outwit via T-bolts SE TA or Oracle.
Important distinction:
Captain America does NOT ignore Stealth.
What Deflection Trajectory means is this:
"line of fire is only blocked by walls and indoor blocking terrain"
Take a look at Stealth:

Cap does not Ignore Stealth, but rather Stealth figures do not block his LoF, as "Captain America's line of fire is only blocked by walls and indoor blocking terrain." A character is not a wall, or Blocking terrain.
Compare to Ahab:

Ahab specifically says: "his line of fire ignores characters and hindering terrain."
But only when ranged attacks are made. Cap has no such penalty.
Now the wierd:
Cap does not Ignore hindering terrain, so a figure with Stealth in Hindering Terrain would still get a +1 Defense bonus, but cap can still see to shoot them.
What does this mean for Cap?
1.) When Cap is outside, his LoF is blocked by walls, but not by blocking terrain.
2.) When Cap is indoors, his LoF is blocked by walls and Blocking terrain.
3.) Taken literally, Cap's LoF is never blocked by Stealth figures indoors or outdoors.
Stealth does not grant the ability for a figure to turn into Blocking Terrain or Wall, it merely blocks LoF. Cap's LoF is only blocked by walls and Indoor Blocking.
Now, the neat stuff:
What Captain America can do with Deflection Trajectory:
Cap can shoot through (or rather, around) characters, inside and out. Cap can shoot through Outdoor Blocking terrain (Skrull Map, Junkyard, the Avengers "Tank" Map). Cap can shoot through outdoor Barriers.
And for the really sick and twisted - Cap can Activate In Contact with Oracle or Thunderbolt to Superman Enemy to gain Outwit. Cap's LoF is only blocked by walls and Indoor Blocking, which means:
Cap can OUTWIT through other characters.
What Cap can't do:
He's not a sharpshooter though, so he can't make ranged attacks while based. Just because his LoF isn't blocked, doesn't mean he can ignore an opposing figure.
I'm stoked about this figure. I'll probably never use the Outwit "break" though it's a very sneaky thing to do.

Not saying you're incorrect, as it makes sence the way you explain it.
I typically stay out of these rule interpretation discusssions because I've long since determined that they hurt my brain. Also I'm not framiliar with the presedents on how things are ruled and explained in similar issues.....that might factor in a bit.
But couldn't the counter argument be that Caps power says;
Deflection Trajectory:This Character's line of fire is blocked(A) only by walls(B) and indoor blocking terrain(C).
And that stealth;
STEALTH: Any line of fire drawn to this character that crosses hindering terrain, including a square of hindering terrain occupied by this character, is blocked(A).
Steath is saying under certain condidtions (A) occurs. Deflection Trajectory is saying that (A) only occurs for this character when (B) and/or (C) are present.
Couldn't one ruling be that since hindering is not (B) or (C) that it can't cause LoF to be blocked as the two exceptions to this power are actually listed in the description?
Not saying that that will be the ruling but it's a possibility......right?
Either way I'm cool with the dial.
It is almost upon us! Are you prepared for the Quarmageddon?
There is no ruling yet. I'm just making gossip. Until we see how it is actually worded, we won't be able to tell. I expect some eratta in any case, the same way Trick Shot was nerfed in Legacy (Superman Enemies could use TS to draw lines of fire to anyone in range).

Outwit around corners.........great! Bye bye hypersonic hiders
That seems really wrong. This power should only work for actual ranged attacks. Hopefully it'll get (or has gotten) a rewrite to that effect.
God is smarter than we are....

Ah, fair enough.
I remember that trick shot change........got a few fun teams off before the change though.
Not that it compares to the Shrinking Violets wMonster Society of Evil team I was able to use before ATAs were no longer WCable......that was a fun team.

I'd agree with the anti stealth Contingent. Stealth blocks LoF when hindering terrain is present. Cap ignores everything but Walls and Indoor Blocking terrain. Since stealth is what's blocking LoF and it isn't specifically mentioned, then it get's ignored.
Iron River Read my wife's comic or I will say mean things about your dog.
I suckered these guys into playing: Feedback Damage
Shooting from behind blocking terrain, or shooting through Barriers is pretty nasty, but I don't know if the fig will truly be abusive. All you have to do is base him and his awesomeness gets cut in half, both offensively and defensively.
I think he will be most effective on 300 point teams, when the opponent might not have a TKer to out-position/alpha strike Cap or points for a tie-up figure to spare. And this works doubly in favor of Avengers teams, making their TA useful again.
In unrestricted you could play
Cap 72
E Vision 108
R Black Panther 27
SR Hawkeye 56
SR Scarlet Witch 35
total: 298
Cap does his thing, and if he gets based, Vision can Phase away with him or bash the baser with a heavy. Vision adds some Perplex to the team as well. Hawkeye does his thing. Panther has the Outwit, and Scarlet is the taxi/PC/Barrier support.
That's a pretty tight package of ranged attacks, (including Stealth busting), Close combat, and support powers. Throw in free movement and theme team bonuses and it's solid as heck.
My H/W link does not reflect the wants for my collection, it is a list of figures that I already have, but still "want" to play.
Nice team! I don't have E vision, so I'd use the LE Victor instead, giving me loads extra points for feats.
56 AV056 Hawkeye
35 AV057 Scarlet Witch
91 SV209 Victor Shade
72 HOT Captain America
27 UI106 Black Panther
281

I've been looking at Inspiring Command as one of my things to try again, worked wonders with Vet Sunspot back when Super Nova came out.
Quote
Inspiring Command Prerequisites: Leadership or Mastermind
Choose a character.
Characters with the same team symbol as the character and a lower point value than the character are not dealt pushing damage when a second token is placed upon them if they are adjacent to the character at the beginning or end of an action.
15 Points
Some of the figs that look good(to me at least) and under 72 points...(sticking to the avengers keyword only)
67 pts: U Spiderwoman (AW)
65 pts: Rk Vision(SN) and RK She-Hulk(SN)
64 pts: Exp Black Knight(FF)
63 pts: U Machine Man (SN)
62 pts: Exp Quicksilver(AW)
56 pts: SR Hawkeye(AV)
55 pts: Rk Ronin(AV)
54 pts: Vet Tigra(FF)
50 pts: SR Two-Gun Kid (AV)
48 pts: Rk Ant-Man(SN)
46 pts: Exp Falcon(Sin)
36 pts: SR Jarvis(SI)
35 pts: SR Scarlet Witch(AV) and Exp Swordsman(Sin)
34 pts: Vet Mockingbird(Sin)
29 pts: Rk Stingray(AV)
Some good options there for both power options and differnt comic line-ups too.
