Its really the only good fig i got. How would you play/feat/support the Thor and loki duo? Is that dial even worth that many points?

Considering how on that first click you can deal out 11 clicks of damage w/ a heavy, I'd say yeah it's worth the points. And turn around the next round and drop 9? Yeah. I mean, sure there are issues - in a 400 pt game, they can pretty easily get swarmed out, but Mystics can be pretty useful for thinning a herd.

I suggest T-Bolting them to Bat Ally, getting to a safe stealthy vantage point - this protects you early on from having your DUO, Indom or Shape Change being outwitted. Blast away. 10 range is substantial - and if you play Sidestep you give yourself a *little* mobillity in between attacks.

Here's the type of thing I'd try in a 400 pt game.

E U-Man

Having the U-Man let's you up your D to a 19 - b/c of the characters symbols and power set there aren't a whole lot of feats you can lay down (camouflage? sure - I'd rather be Bat Ally and not have to depend on a wall). The Duo attack + indom + range + great damage values is going to be your saving grace. So positioning is everything.

I didn't pull Thor and Loki, but the Units section shows that figure as a , not . Are they actually a duo?

This is the 400 pt. Thor and Loki team I came up with:

HA057 Thor and Loki - 362
w/ SIF005 Camouflage - 8
w/ CRF004 Sidestep - 10
w/ MUF102 Protected - 8
w/ FFF008 Thunderbolts - 5
w/ MUF003 Inside Information - 4
w/ MUF004 Monster Hunter - 3

Total = 400

Tbolt to Batman Ally if facing a tentpole, Arachnos if facing a swarm, and Ultimates if facing a bunch of stealthers. Inside info will be a huge feat in general in this set, so might as well stack it on. Camouflage helps the defense. Sidestep will help once that battle fury kicks in. Monster hunter just seems thematic incase a trio of Fenris wolves or a horde of trolls show up.

All in all, I think its a way safer way to go than just playing Thor and Loki with a Valkyrie for support ...

Make sure that you dont forget 2 things ? First that they have shapechange and the second important thing to remember is that they are mystic so when people get by your shapechange they will be taking a click.

Perplex Damage to do 6 from Range followed by 5 more. Using the heavy in close combat means 8! then 5 more!

Personally, I'd be holding onto the Tombstone and blasting from range.

We certainly agree that T&L are not to be dismissed.

Camoflauge and thunderbolting to Bats alley can help prevent Outwit - but only on specific maps.

With a 1 (2?) man army I want to know that I will not be able to be the target of outwit.

These guys cannot afford to lose duo attack or indominable at all if they want to win in a 400 point game.

Higher point games possibly can do without Fortitude.

Camouflage does not prevent line of fire for Outwit. It only blocks lines of fires for ranged combat purposes.

Camo + T-Bolts to Bat Ally. At least that's what I am planning for tonight-- though I won't probably be able to play. Protected just in case, and a tombstone just to be mean.

Damage Shield can be used all dial long thanks to the trait. Combine with T-Bolts, Sidestep, Inside Info, Protected and Legendary Day for a potentially fearsome 399 piece.
