I'm liking that Special object. Does "Continual" mean that it isn't destroyed during an offensive attack?
Continual just means that the object's text still applies while it's being carried. Otherwise, picking up an object negates the text on in (so you can't tote around a step-ladder and use it to scale walls, as awesome as that would be, or carry around the Aerial Baffler to drop fliers as you wander.)

Also a quick rules question on Lunge again. If I remember correctly the 2 square move for Lunge is not a move action, just a moving the character 2 squares. I would interpret this to mean that the character couldn't pick up an object during that 2 square move.

Correct on your interpretation of Tombstone.

IIRC, The Rules Arbitrator's opinion is that a character CAN pick up an object, as they can do so during a charge, for instance, which is a power action. Harpua makes a pretty decent counter-argument that basically argues your interpretation to argue against the ability to scoop up an object while lunging. We'd have to check the League thread to see if a League ruling has been made. Otherwise, we either need to get one from our Mods or figure out another way to determine it (i.e. using the Rules Arb opinion)

2. Persuader Charges to Q-19 and destroys the HO at Q-18.
3. Emerald Empress Running Shots to H-19 and fires to destroy the HO at P-11.
