Definitely he's become the Daredevil of choice. His Protector of Hell's Kitchen anti-stealth power puts him in places only figures with Superman or Ultimates ta dared tread.
Sculpt's great. (Up there along with his Sinister grave visitor as one of the better in the game). Standard DD fare of incap, ss, leap/climb, mid-dial ew & late dial outwit are improved with a higher defense, a full dial of stealth and downgraded with an only 4 range and no Spider-Man ally ta.
One of the greatest sculpts in a really strong set. The short range will bother inexperienced players, but veterans should have no problem with him. The dual incap and three damage are great, but what makes the figure is the 18 defense. A Daredevil who can avoid a hit- finally!
Hard to judge on paper, but once you see him in play you can tell it's a strong dial. Great defense with stealth up front, and once you base your opponent you push onto exploit weakness. Or just hop into hindering a couple squares from them and frustrate them. Either way, a very playable dial, especially in this set.
haha, well that's why he can see through stealth. shouldn't matter if someone is hiding in the dark because the whole world is dark for Daredevil :knockedou
While I love this sculpt, I have yet to play a decent game with this Daredevil. I really feel his 4 range is an insult when Nightwing has a 6 range, and they both use bill clubs so come on, why not a 6 range for DD. This would make him on par with the many Batman members with the 6 range, but would give him the advantage he does have over them by being able to see through their stealth thanks to his amazing senses.
I am thinking with a TKer and Stunning Blow I could make him a much more playable figure, but so far I have played a Martial Artist Team where he was just out ranged, and a huge HoT game where I was unable to get to my opponent with DD and did not need him anyways (thanks to Odin and Beta Ray Bill!).
However, being roughly the same point value as Nightwing, but without the TAs, range, Leadership or Perplex, not to mention the dual acrobat power that Nightwing has with ES/D and CR (SS with an 18 is sweet but changing to the Nightwing power mid-dial would be cool with the 17 or 16), I would play Nightwing given the chance over DD any day. Which is annoying, because while I love both, I feel DD would smash Nightwing.
Well, he's got the SP people have been crying for him to have since SP's were invented, but the lowered range, though more comic accurate, really takes a lot of the utility out of it. A good piece, and a nice sculpt, but I'd probably play one of the sinister daredevils
Sculpt is really cool but you must play it with ICWO, if not he can see and sit... he needs also book of destiny, lunge, loner to be playable.
Short range.

Not a first attack figure, but a solid secondary figure. Value skyrockets in draft format versus constructed. And FINALLY solved the stealth vs. leap/climb conundrum. Somebody in R&D cares about DD!
Good figure and the sculpt is almost as good as 'Grave robber Matty Murdock'. Solid peice and seeing through stealth is awesome. Double incapacitate is always good. My only problem: the slots on his dial that are empty.
