I would like to hear some stories from you guys if you've experienced any weird trading situations. On my part it was an overseas trade. By the way I'm from the Philippines. I got this package containing a BIBTB Ragnarok Surtur and something else....Believe it or not inside the package there was a small colony of tiny red ants(complete with ant larvaes)!!! How did they get in there?! Did the ants mistook Ragnarok Surtur for a huge jolly rancher candy? This is a true story that happened to me just recently.
In one of the first trades I did here, the guy sent the figures stuffed in a baseball cap... that was odd, but appreciated. Still have that hat somewhere...
In a recent trade, the other guy had packed some of the figures in an old dressing container, as far as I could tell - it was clean though. Unconventional, but effective.
Someone sent me some minis in a pudding Box before, and the box was all flimsy and beat up, and my minis were bent.
coming soon : nu52 Hercules

Baseball caps are good! You can still wear them or just keep it as a souvenir. On my part I don't have the patience to cultivate an ant farm.
I received some figs packed in toilet paper tubes before. Odd, but effective as the tube was about the same size as the figs' base so it held them in place.
There are 542,000 children in foster care. Talk to your local foster and adoptive agency. You could change a life.

Worse i ever had was figures in an envelope mail. How is it possible? the figure was off the dial and mailed to me. The figure was also the colonel from Avengers, so wasn't hard to put into an envelope.
My brother had one even worse. This guy mailed him figures in a box that's 1 inch tall, and the figures were bent over completely.

I had the same thing one time, I wonder if it was the same guy?

I bought a KC Shazam off of e-Bay one time. So the guy charges me $5.00 or $6.00 US to ship it here to Canada from Florida. It arrives in the smallest padded mailer envelope I've ever seen, and it cost the guy $0.68 to ship it The figure wasn't damaged in any way, but when I inquired about his shipping costs/methods, he didn't bother to reply to me. Needless to say, he did not receive Positive Feedback from me.
I also had a guy ship the SR Spectre from Crisis to me in a padded envelope. Same type of deal, $5.00-$6.00 cost for me to ship, less than $1.00 actual cost. The figure was broken off the base but he was pretty good about it, and refunded me the shipping cost.
The best packing I've seen was when I bought the entire Indy set off of e-Bay. The guy shipped them in a big box, and each figure was taped down to the inside of bubble wrap, arranged in sequential/REVU order from 1-96 (no UK exclusives). That was an impressive shipping job.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
Strangest trade I had was where the figs were shipped to me in a Tupperware container. Not a box, a Tupperware container. Stuffed with paper towels. The container was sealed with tape and everything inside was find. Didn't think that USPS allowed shipping like that, though.

Was that my package that has the ants? The ants can't be from where I am because all we ever get are the big red fire ants here in Texas
Not weird but awesome. Once out of the blue Some one I traded with before (George Smiley) send me a 12 inch x 12 inch box pack full of his old heroclix. It had lots of old generics, Mojo, and Kurt Wagner and many more. And about a week ago I did a small trade for some HoT figures and Jackaloper sent me a sealed copy of "Champions Online" as a free surprise. These Guys are awesome.
just remembered a kinda weird trade I had a few years ago...
The other guy says he's sent out. Then a few days later I get another PM saying he mixed up the labels and sent me the wrong package, and asks me to send it on to the guy who was supposed to get it.
So all of the sudden I am sitting there with a KC Green Lantern (back when it was a red-hot commodity), and I'm very very tempted to just hang on to it. But I send it back, because it's the right thing to do.
You know what I get for paying for an extra international shipment? As far as I can remember, nothing. Not that I asked for anything, but it seems like it would have been the fair thing to do. Oh well, #### happens.
