From the solicitation provided by Comical, we have this bit:
"- 12 Alternate Team Ability feat cards (3 copies of 4 different cards)"
What could these 4 ATAs be? What are your guesses? Will they be alternates for old team abilities or 4 new teams using an existing ability when their feat card is unavailable?
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
Hopefully some JLA alternate team ability that's available to all JLA members and that makes the team ability useful on figures like Superman or Wonder Woman.
Then I imagine we'll receive the Secret Six, Sinestro Corps, and perhaps an Injustice League ATA. Rogues would definitely be welcome in one form or another.
I'm in Providence! I've been out of the hobby, but I'm looking for Saturday gaming. Send me a PM if you know the down-low!
I'm hoping for at the very least an ATA based on one or more of the variations of the Justice League. Like a Justice League International ATA or a Justice League Europe ATA.
And the JSA now have two teams, so why not an ATA for them? Like the Freedom Fighters or All Winners Squad or something.
The All-Winners Squad was a Marvel team. I think you're think of the All-Star Squadron. ;-)
But yeah, Justice League and Injustice League ATAs would be brilliant. Something to actually validate the point cost. I'd like to see the Secret Six, Checkmate and Freedom Fighters, myself. :-)

When it comes to Superman and Batman, Grant Morrison is nothing but a 50's cover band in a 70's psychedelic funk style.
From SWTony's post which first brought us info on the new solicitations:
"Featuring 55 new superhero and supervillian figures - including over 25 characters that have never before appeared in DC HeroClix."
I think a lot of the team abilities will be based on this notion. I think most will be from groups that have a significant amout of characters that have never before appeared in clix.
1. Sinestro Corps
I think, more than any other team, this one deserves to get the nod, but I don't think that will happen. I think most of the planning of B&B happened before Wizkids shut down. At that time, B&B was going to follow on the heels of Arkham Asylum, which had a heavy Sinestro Corps presence. It would be unlike Wizkids to hammer the same theme home two sets in a row. I would assume they planned on doing very little with the Sinestro Corps in B&B. I don't think this will happen. I also don't expect any of the ATAs will have anything to do with the other rainbow corps because at the time this set was planned almost none of them had even appeared in the comics.
2. Too soon, the others
There are other teams I can think of that could use an ATA but should also be rejected because there were too many of them recently made at the time B&B would originally have been released. The Fearsome Five only recently got Mammoth, Shimmer, and Sivana. While Gizmo is a reasonable expectation for this set, expecting any of the others to be remade in a set so heavily new seems unlikely. I would also discount the possibility of the Metal Men or a revision of the Batman Enemies for the same reason.
3. New Gods
Only three have been made, all of them more than ready for a remake. Additionally, the Bug character, Highfather, Takion, Lightray, and the Forever People could feasibly be made. I think New Gods is a distinct possibility.
4. Apokalips
While Darkseid, Desaad, Granny, and the Parademons have been made, there are plenty of other good possibilities for new Apokaliptian characters.
5. Super Young Team
At the time this set was likely planned, Final Crisis was in motion and this team was being promoted. The temptation to make characters like Most Excellent Superbat, Atomic Lantern Boy, and Shiny Happy Aquazon would have been goofy fun for the designers. Let's face it, the star quality of this set is clearly established. There would certainly be room for a few obscure characters like this.
6. Ultramarines/Global Guardians
Almost no characters that would qualify for either of these teams have ever been made. Grant Morrison has been steadily using these guys since his days as a writer of JLA, so their profiles have increased over the years. To top it off, Knight & Squire would make for an excellent duo. This team might be a dark horse, but I still think it possible.
7. Flash Rogues
While a fair number, including the most popular members, have recently been made (since Justice League), enough intriguing characters remain that I could see this happen. Golden Glider, Girder, Murmur, Magenta, the Turtle, Cobalt Blue, the Folded Man, and Double-Down would be cool additions to this game.
8. Secret Six
While Scandal is too new to be remade by my reckoning, we could use a new Deadshot and a new Catman. Additionally, we have never got a Ragdoll, Parademon (non-generic), Jeanette, or a Fiddler. This could happen.
9. Shazam Family
We know we are getting a Captain Marvel/Black Adam fig. In addition to updated versions of Freddy and Mary, new possibilities include Mr. Tawky Tawny, Isis, and Osiris.
10. The Crime Bible
This creepy cult was being promoted around the time this set was likely designed. Kyle Abbot and Whisper A'Daire would be musts for this team. Bruno "Ugly" Mannheim would work. A number of animal-hybrid generics could fit on this team. This one seems like a stretch, but not so outlandishly so that I would dismiss it entirely.
11. Old West
This one is outside the box, I admit, but I think it would be pretty cool. We could get a Jonah Hex remake to team up with Scalphunter, El Diablo, Bat Lash, Cinnamon, Super-Chief, and Nighthawk. I'd dig it.
12. Milestone
While DC doesn't outright own these characters, I don't think the notion that they might coordinate the licensing in one set is crazy. Imagine getting Hardware, Icon & Rocket, Static Shock, Xombi, and members of the Blood Syndicate in the boosters right alonside Green Lantern and Superman.
13. Red Circle
I don't think this one is as likely as the Milestone possibility. At the time the set would have been made, they probably had the deal to publish these characters, but I don't think the DC versions had seen the light of day yet. I would dismiss this for the Brave & the Bold set.
14. First Wave
I'd also dismiss this idea. I don't think the deal to publish these characters was solid at the time this set was finished so I don't expect to see Doc Savage, the Spirit, or Rima the Jungle Girl to be in Brave & the Bold. That would be so great, though. I hope in future sets this becomes possible.
15. The Great Ten
Ooops. Almost forgot these guys. While I wouldn't remake any of the ones who have been made, there are enough others still unmade to make this a reasonable guess. If so, I would expect at least 4 of them to appear in the set, instead of just one.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
But yeah, Justice League and Injustice League ATAs would be brilliant. Something to actually validate the point cost. I'd like to see the Secret Six, Checkmate and Freedom Fighters, myself. :-)
it's called The Society ATA, it came with Collateral Damage. Print yours now.
My choices:
Justice League ATA: JLI
Calculator ATA: Rogues
Suicide Squad ATA: Secret Six
Sinestro Corps ATA: When a character with this team ability makes an attack against a target character, you can modify the target's defense value by -1 for each friendly character with the Sinestro Corps keyword that has attacked the target this turn. (a variation of the GLC ATA)

Sure, I'm excited about 'em, but who would want to win one, when you can just print it off at home?
True, but different Venues will be, and are presently, handling Print and Play differently.
The players at my Venue decided, on their own, that they did not want to include the HoT LE cardboard in PnP until the HoT event cycle concludes (in March for our Venue). I imagine they will come to a similiar conclusion for B&B as well.

I'm hoping for a new Beast Boy and Negative Man and a Doom Patrol ATA that gives them the same TA benefits of the Fantastic Four... Doom Patrol, one dies and they all get stronger, very themey.
Oohh... Give me Nightmaster and Detective Chimp and a Shadowpact ATA. How about reverse Mystics... every time they injure you, they get a click of health.
1) a JLA/Justice League - maybe to an alpha flight ability
2) Rogues - definately need a team ability - should be some type of defensive benefit for the teamwork of the team (at least the core members)
3) LOSH - please give us a decent ATA for these guys
4) Secret Six - this would be great too
Otherwise would be nice to see:
5) Sinestro Corps
6) Injustice Society and Injustice Gang - "Society" ATA doesn't need to be reprinted given PnP
7) Intergang/Crime Bible would be great if we had some new figs for this team
8) reword the Teen Titan ability to match the X-Men
9) Brotherhood of Evil with some more figs would be great
