Someone the other day said it like GAM-OR-A, like as in GAMMA rays.

How do you all pronounce it? I love learning useless #### like this!

Oh my goodness. At the first venue I played at, there were a bunch of 30-40 year olds, me and 2 other teens, and three 8 year olds. Each of the three 8 year olds were all like "my favorite guy is Darkseed" "with my Darkseed I will destroy you" "I will play every game with Darkseed". I about lost my mind.

Yeah that Darkseed thing really bugs me. All you need to do is watch some episodes of justice league and they'll give you the correct pronunciations.

btw, sorry for my part in hijacking this thread. I've only ever heard anyone pronounce Gamora like Gomorrah. Gamma Ray is way too stupid of a pronunciation and should only be used to bug your opponent.

I'm going biblical on this one. Gamora. Like the naughty city. Because Gamora inspires such naughty feelings in the minds of all loyal (hetero) fanboys.

I have a friend that calls Fenris, "Fen-ree".

I've never heard of that before. I've only ever heard it called Fen-"ris" but he says he heard it on some Manga flick about Loki or something.

I think your friend could be right. I kinda thought that was how it was pronounced myself. Where is Quebbster when you need him? He usually knows how the Norse stuff is pronounced.
