I am not one to be too sentimental with comics, so I have no problem selling something as soon as I read it.
That being said, how much could I make if I sell my Blackest Night stuff on March 31 (last issue's release date, conveniently now 2 weeks before BatB's release).
The Lot will include:
Blackest Night 0-8
Green Lantern 43-52
Green Lantern Corps 39-46
Every 3 Part Mini
Every "Dead" Issue
Essentially everything listed here plus an extra issue of both Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps.
I will not have any of the dcu crossover issues outside of the Dead Issues.
It would be a 56 issue set, and would include everything to be released to Blackest Night hardcover.
I am no expert on secondary market comic book selling, and I'm pretty bad on the buying end, but on a story this hot (and I'm sure that there are a few people looking to buy it all once the story is complete), how much do you think I should sell it for?
Honestly, that's tough. I'm no expert, but I'll hazard you might break even. Some stuff would be worth more on a secondary market and some would be worth less. I would think most people who didn't jump on it, might simply wait for the Graphics.
For your sake, I'd hope not...but that would be my guess.

I don't mind not getting 100% back, kinda like renting a movie. If I sell each issue for $3, I will make $168. Add an extra $.50 an issue and I get just under $200. If the advertising for for $99.99 bricks for BatB are true, then that could pay for my case.
