Picked up the Batman/Superman issues relating to Blackest Night.

Now I'm wondering if Frankenstein and Frankenstain's bride are currently starring in any books?

And what is my best bet for picking up back issues featuring the best of these guys?

Seven Soldiers is the place to go for the best of Frankenstein and his Bride.

Would you recommend just his mini or the entire Seven Soldiers event?

I'd stick with just the mini myself.
Grant Morrison is my favorite writer, but Seven Soldier was really hit and miss with me.
Frankenstein was one of the only ones I fully enjoyed.

I enjoyed the whole thing, which was Grant Morrison at his strongest - given a self-contained playground to really explore his weirdness, without impacting much on the general DCU.

But if you just want to read about Frankenstein, you could just grab the trade paperback with those issues and still follow the story.

He's pretty good, but as an obviously threatening piece your opponent will focus on him.
