OBSESSIVE:Calculator can use Outwit. When he does, roll 2d6 and subtract the greatest number of characters from the opposing force that share a common keyword; if the result is 4 or less, at the end of your turn deal Calculator 1 unavoidable damage.
Superman Enemy TA (from the www, there's no Legion Starter PAC in the units for the DC Team Abilities at least): When two friendly Superman Enemy team members are adjacent, the character with the highest point value gains the Outwit power. If that character already has Outwit, then this team ability has no effect. If two adjacent friendly Superman Enemy team members have identical point values, the controlling player chooses which character receives the Outwit power. Once this choice is made, it cannot be changed until the chosen character loses Outwit. This team ability is cancelled at the end of an action in which the two Superman Enemy team members are no longer adjacent.
Can Calculator use the Superman Enemy TA to gain regular Outwit as he only can "use" Outwit supplanted by his SP?
Additionally, IF he indeed can use Superman Enemy to gain Outwit, would it trigger the Outwit check roll?
Thanks!

yes he can get the outwit from the TA (ask harpua for his Leader reference how he can use it 4 times in 1 turn)
i would say yes it would trigger the second part of his SP, as since it just says when he uses outwit.
Leader is on click 2 and got Outwit from Oracle on the last turn.
At the beginning of the turn, he uses the OW from Oracle to counter somebody's Invulnerability. A Poisoner then damages that figure, dropping it to Toughness. (1 use)
Next he Outwits the Toughness (via his SP) before a second Poisoner gets the guy. (2 uses)
He now takes a power action to gain Perplex from Oracle.
Later on he copies Superman Enemy and uses that Outwit. (3 uses)
Now a teammate uses Pulse Wave and catches Leader with it. He drops to click three and picks up a natural Outwit. (Note that the SE OW from use 3 would now end.) He can now use that natural Outwit. (4 uses)

!
Does this mean he can use Outwit twice in one turn?
If he uses it via TA, but then the characters lose adjacency, via being carried, running shot, or charge. He could then use his SP?
No rest until the great works of Anthony Edward Stark are in clix forms
Soon...his works will be realized... in 2013 the Hall of Armor in clix!
The question, as I understand it, is can Calculator turn off Obsessive (Outwit+drawback) and gain standard Outwit through the SE TA, thus avoiding the roll? I can't see why not.
just wait, how many times could he do it with compel?
Infinitely, if you had infinite actions.

He could even use it if he still has it from the TA.
He doesn't HAVE Outwit. He CAN USE Outwit.

Alright, I am still confused, slightly. This is more for my own clarification purposes, so I can explain it when I eventually do it. ( I love the Calculator piece!!)
I understand that he CAN USE Outwit via the SP and does not possess it. But, the TA states that he GAINS it; is there a difference?
Also, what if I turned off the SP for the purposes of the TA to avoid the roll? is it possible to turn it back on to use the outwit via the SP?
I guess I am trying to figure out how this all works:
I use the TA to gain outwit and use it, but have "turned off" the SP , so I avoid rolling. But, then I want to use the SP outwit, since I "gained" it via the TA, can I use the SP?

Yes. Gains means that he possesses it, but the TA doesn't say gains.

SUPERMAN ENEMY
When two friendly characters using the Superman
Enemy team ability are adjacent, the character with
the highest point value may use Outwit. If that
character already has Outwit, then this team ability
has no effect. If the characters using the team ability
have the same point value, their controller chooses
which may use the Outwit power. Once this choice is
made, it can’t be changed until the chosen character
can no longer use Outwit. This team ability is canceled
at the end of an action in which the two characters
using the Superman Enemy team ability are no longer
adjacent.

No. Once a power is canceled, it remains canceled until the end of the current turn and resumes its effect at the beginning of the next turn.
