Thick orange lines along the grid of this map are force fields.
When determining if a line is blocked, treat force fields as walls.
However, force fields are not walls or blocking terrain, they can't be destroyed and characters can't move over or through them using any power, ability, or effect (such as phasing/teleport or the Flight ability). Characters on opposite sides of force fields are not adjacent.
When counting squares to determine the range or area of any effect, you can't count beyond a force field. (To determine if you are counting beyond a force field, draw a line from the center of the square where the effect originates, to the square you are attempting to count, if the line goes through a force field or through a diagonal bordered by the grid of the force field, the square can't be counted)
Players must choose starting ares diagonally opposite each other, whenever possible.
(Attack) Chrononaut: Rip Hunter can use Perplex, but can only target himself or a friendly character.
(Damage) Time Master: Rip Hunter can use Outwit and Probability Control. The standard and named powers of Rip Hunter and friendly characters adjacent to him can't be countered.

"Oof" said Phyla as she crashed to the ground, "I hate teleportation."
"Well then you're really going to hate this," Peter stated. Phyla looked arond and noticed that they weren't at Knowhere, they were at CASTLE DOOM!
"tik well this is just awesome, Bug yelled.
"Who are those guys," Vance asked, "and where is my shield?"
"Flark if I know." Rocket answered, but they look silly." Peter pulled out his gun and fired at the shield seperating them from the silly looking people. The shot bounced off the shield and almost hit Phyla.
"Dast sakes Peter watch out," she screamed!
"Sorry," he chuckled, Okay Rocket you and I will move to the left and flank these guys and Phy you take Bug and move to the right and cone around the other side. I want to see if this shield goes all the way around. Major you see what this shield is made of.
1. Phyla grabs bug and flies to F-11, placing Bug in E-12. She gets a second action token, but no push damage thanks to PC.
2. Star Lord runs to L-6.
3. Rocket scouts ahead of him to L-5

HYPERTIME
Whenever an opposing character given a move action,
power action, or free action attempts to move from a
square that is not adjacent to the character using the
Hypertime team ability to a square adjacent
to the character using the Hypertime team ability, roll one d6 before moving the opposing character, even if it ignores the effects of characters on movement.
FYI, the DC PAC isn't in the Units section, but all the team abilities are available there within the Player's Guide link. I pulled this entry from page 12-1 of the document.
