I haven't put up any new mods in awhile, so here's a few!
For those too young to remember, Atlas-Seaboard was a small comic company that tried to challenge Marvel and DC for a few months in the mid-1970s. Though they attracted some big-name talent, they soon went out of business, no title lasting longer than four issues and most fewer than that. But their policies on payment and artists retaining ownership of their artwork changed the industry forever!
While most of their characters were called derivative and unoriginal, they did have one of the very first "anti-heroes" in comics: THE TARANTULA! A protagonist who changed into a were-spider and brutally killed criminals!
MADAME XANADUwas originally conceived as the "hostess" of a fantasy-horror anthology comic; but, beginning with a co-starring role in DC Comics Presents and more recently in many of DC's crossover events, became a player in DC's mainstream universe!
And who could forget Marvel Comics' answer to Alfred E. Neumann--FORBUSH-MAN??
Irving Forbush!! Nice. How do you make the tops of your dials? What program?
not sure how he duz it BUT... if you have adobe illustrator (or go download the free trial from their sight) you can click the link in my sig and download the templates for both dial and dial top along with a few other extras thrown in that i use my self.
Oh freakin' cool! Your Forbush-Man is perfect! even the fuzzies! The other two are great as well. I love the Tarantula and the web-effects you pulled off and the detail in Xanadu are really nice. Great jobs once again, CC!
Love your Xanadu. She's holding Mano's head, isn't she?
Indeed she is. There's a place online where I can get clear plastic spheres of any size....but Mano's just more economical. Came in handy for Sando & Omar, too.
1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. (And a little bit of blood when I nicked my finger with the X-acto knife.)
Tell me about it! ALMOST every time that I do 4/5 customs in the same time I ending with a bad cut in the fingers of my left hand and everytime it happen I say "oh, not again, lets's see how bad is it... OMG!"
lol, the last time 15% of a nail go with half my finger print. (I thought it will leave a mark but is all right now lol)
Edit: nevermind, if I look closer I can see a little part is miising from the shape of my finger.
