Great sculpt!

I knew the production process took out detail but that is crazy.

I think it would be nice if Neca could produce a metal version of the miniatures so a collector could paint their own version and have something that retains some detail.

That sculpt looks a millions billions times better than the painted version. Of course I haven't seen either in person, but it's really nice.

Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of Raney's interpretation of the character -- though I hasten to point out that you only improved on it while keeping true to the style -- and it's terribly unfortunate what the paint application appears to be doing to it in mass production. None of that's your fault, though. You've done fine work. Rep.

A few Qs if I may........

1) Can you tell us how many scupts you have comming?(Even if it's just a ballpark #)

2) IIRC, I remember you talking to Ben about the digital sculpting and printing at one point......have you started this yet of are you still exclusively clay?

3) Since this is the last set from the old WK are you still/back with WK/NECA? I hope so. :fingerscrossed:


I still think your Venom is one of my favorite custome jobs I've ever seen here. Glad to see your stuff is getting picked up.....even if the paints have to butcher it.

great work, looks so much better then the painted one WK showed. i hope the final ones we see are somewhere in the middle for quality at least. wish they went with the hooded costume tho. eh, i'm still happy they're making clix again.

Matter of Fact, wizkids has done this back in the Mageknight days... you could get your hands on some metal pieces of unique figures and paint them yourself.

That is a GREAT sculpt, with nice detail.

However, I am not liking the painted version that's being shown on the front page. I dearly hope that the final version comes through cleaner.

It's probably too early to say now, but when the dust settles will you let us know if you have any other sculpts in the set, and show us the originals?

Yes,sorry.It would seem there are a couple of missing links and pictures in my webpage.Too bad since one of the minis was a robot by an amazing painter.I'll try to fix those issues next time I'll make an update and perhaps post Etrigan or Wonder Woman.
