Ok, guys, I need help to decide something about one VERY IMPORTANT of my Heroclix scenarios AND collection.

I have to confess: I DO HAVE the Fearsome 5 in My Collection!

Why? Becuase they were in the FIRST Complette Titans story that I EVER read:

The Problem is... Is just me or the Fearsome 5 REALLY REALLY look weak?

On that crossover the team was:

We have:
94 Psimon
40 Dr Light E (it was the brainwashed Dr Light).
49 Shimmer
118 Mammoth
79 Gizmo!
480 "Mud Creatures" (creatures create by Psimon) I use 9 60 points Clayface from AA
24 Office Workers (I use pogs for civilians that Psimon controled on that comic book).

944 Total points

The question is WHY they are so weak? specially Psimon. I think Psimon is so weak that his dial CAN'T represent Psimon! (and I DO use "weak" dials versions on my scenarios.)

I'm not really sure if they are a "fair" match for This Outsiders+ Titans team:

So, I have 2 questions:

1) I use OTHERS dials for this characters? (V Mandarin for Psimon, V Killer Frost for Shimmer, V Fixer for Gizmo, Cain Marko for Mammoth).

2) IF I use the "real" dials of the Fearsome 5 team, that will be a "fair" battle against this team of Outsiders and Titans?

Wait wait... After read the Keyword of Dr. Light...

I MAY need to use R Dr Light for this scenario, after all, Dr Light was in the Suicide Squad AFTER the Fearsome 5 and for that he IS NOT the Suicide Squad version... so the R and more powerful dial for Dr Light may be need and more acurate for this scenario than the Exp... Mmmm

She is not in the team of that scenario. I think she come after Dr Light on the team?

Yep, she comes later. And yes, FEarsome Five, for the lack of a better word, sucks. But really, is VERY comic acurate in this aspect!

I think you should use the normal dials, but give the mud monster some sort of swarm power, similar to Batman Enemy TA or something.

Well if Sucks is comic acurate then I may try it. I also don't like special powers a lot BUT I put first specially comic acurate.

In the beginning I use those replacement dials because they were not Fearsome 5 on clix and later I use it after be very disapointed with Psimon (Psimon is controlling a city on this story!) but anyways, I'm thinking in really use the "real" dials. thanks for the feedback.

also I can't find a gizmo clix :-s (trying to build the team of bad guys so I can wrap my head around it game playwise, though using Arthur Light seems to be better then using Dr Light IMHO)

oh, ok thanks forgot about that (was using the unit sections, though not sure why they can't add the B&B stuff as it comes up as previews...) but basically the issue with the fearsome five team is...it is a bunch of scientist just about, only heavy hitter you have is Mammoth...he is also the only move and attacker :-/ Clayfaces are good for tieing up, but are more then likely to be taken out by your own Dr Light, as are the pogs since Dr Light has pulse wave down most of his dial. The Heroes team has more of the attacker types then the Bad Guys do :-/ if there was some way to protect the clayfaces from getting popped with the pulse wave then I think they could work, but no guarantee

I know that this fearsome five is not related to the story that you want but with this team i beat another team of five member (was for a very short time)the fantastic four starter set Ben, Reed,Sue,Johnny and spiderman versus Sabbac, Jinx, Arthur Light, Psimon and Dr.Sivana. Survive most of the team but Psimon. Sabbac is the key here because of his team symbol and awesome sculpt. The match was 500 pts of pure fun factor and we play in the battle arena of hulk so johnny could do his thing but was not enough.

Sabbac is a pretty nasty piece IMHO

Instead of clayface try or mix in Plasmus also into the mix.

As for the Fearsome 5 with all the wildcards you really need to play them with Sivana or Saabac to actually be menacing with them.

Camouflage on Shimmer and Cordination on either her or Mammoth is a must.
