I have Thor, The Reigning coming in on a trade. I was looking at the Units section, and he does not seem to be as powerful as I thought. Is there something I am missing? Regular Thor seems like he'd be able to kick his butt!
1: On the Odin Sleep Power, can you "turn off" the SP, and have someone else move him/ carry him?
2: Even though he is in "Odin Sleep," I take it the since his DV goes up, people can still attack him? If so, are there any restrictions.
3: Can Thor use support while in Odin Sleep? Does this add a token to his card ( I do not believe so), or just his figure?
4: Can you cancel's Thor The Reigning Indomitable, so he can go up from the 18 with Defend, to the higher 19? Like if I wanted to use support and he has a token on him already when an opposing figure knocked him on Odin Sleep.
5: Is there anything else I should know about him? He seems kind of bad power wise and stats, with only a 8 range compared to the normal one with 10 range and 2 arrows. Might keep him sealed and trade him off. I really do not see why he was selling so much now. Any help in showing me what I might be missing would be appreciated!
ODINSLEEP: At the beginning of your turn, put a Sleep token on this card. When there are three Sleep tokens on this card, as a free action you must remove all of them and heal Thor, The Reigning of 5 damage. No action or game effect can cause Thor, The Reigning to move from the square he currently occupies. This power can't be countered or ignored.

MJOLNIR RETURNED: Thor, The Reigning can use the Flight ability and Ranged Combat Expert.
1.As it is worded, currently, Odinsleep is optional so you could turn off the power and carry him although I expect this wasn't the intent of the power. I hope I'm wrong on this one, Odinsleep really should be non-optional IMO.
2.There is nothing keeping anyone from attacking Thor, the Reigning at any point in his dial.
3.Thor can be given actions normally during Odinsleep, the only restriction is that he can't be moved (unless you turn off Odinsleep). You can use Support all you want.
4.Indomitable is optional so you can turn it off to take a push like you're describing.
5.Thor, the Reigning is a fun piece and that Pulse Wave/Indomitable/Probability Control is pretty cool with a Nova Blast. He would also make some wacky Mastermind fodder, maybe pair him with Nathaniel Richards or Loki.
I'm sure Thor the Reigning could be used well and put a beating on some teams, but I happened to face him in a 400 point match last weekend and after playing him, I am more than convinced that the common Thor is head and shoulders above the Le. Reigning is a different dial almost entirely, but I feel not in a positive way. I had a 400 point robot team led by Ultron and after a few rounds, Thor was no longer "reigning". I hit him for some significant damage after outwitting his defensive power with the 55 pt. Thinker and ranged him with Ultron. For some strange reason, my opponent felt it wise to move him adjacent to Ultron after that. Mistake. My red tornado hit him and put him into his "Odin Sleep" and than Ultron had a decent roll to hit that big 19 def. When he did, game was over. In my opinion, thor 226 common is the definitive thor, as many agreed on the recent poll. Sorry Thor the reigning!
Now dang it I searched for "reigning" in the unrestricted player's guide and it turned up no result. "Thor turns up nothing also. Same for the restricted guide. Are the player's guides in the units section from the old guide?
Edit: Yeah, the ones in the units section are old.

Yes, the units section of this site has an outdated version of the PG. The most recent one can be found from the WizKids site or from nbperp's signature right there ^.
