Just wondering if any other mafians are going to C2E2. I think a few of you have said so in other places. I am going at least one day although it might be all three now since I am looking at the goodies coming with the premium Avatar (the comic company not the film) packages.
Mark, the owner of Darktower Comics, has some kind of in with the con (he and the guys from the Around Comics podcast flat-out run the Windy City Comicon, so it makes sense that he'd know some folks). There was an initial flurry of activity when it seemed like 'Clix at the con was a done deal. Then they weren't so much. I don't know if WotC called for exclusivity on the gaming room or what (D&D and M:tG *will* be represented in an official capacity), but I know that we're hoping for something next year.
Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, might be a ways for you to get to but it would be awesome to see you there.

Yeah, it does seem like WotC has exclusive hold on gaming this year. You would think it would have been a great place for WizKids/NECA to be since BatB comes out early that week. Hoping to maybe to do some unofficial booster draft battle royals if anyone is interested.
Oh, not hitting any con's this year, sadly need to hit up Mass this summer to see my grandpa, he keeps getting really sick :-/ had 2 surgeries in the past 2 months, though should be at SDCC again next year...

Sorry to hear about your gramps, will keep him in my prayers. I to some day hope to go to SDCC, probably won't be for a few years.
I'll be there Saturday. Some friends are going and invited me along. Our local shop (buymetoys.com) is going to have a booth there. The owner has a comic he promotes.
