Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard mafia game interest?
I really enjoyed running Iason and the Argonauts and Murder in the Priory, and would like to run another game in that vein (ie with artwork). For subject material I wanted to dable a little in Mouse Guard, but have free reign to write my own characters. I've settled on a 'Viking' invasion (i.e. Otters) on a monestary/monastic enclave. Would anyone be interested in playing such a game? Getting all the player drawings and descriptions done up for this is much more involved than a normal mafia game for me, and the night commitments are much higher on my end.
The plot would loosely follow the first Viking attack on Lindesfarne/the East Coast of England mixed in with some Mouse Guard flavor. I would also likely want to incorporate a winner for best 'role play', for a player who stayed the most in character (as per their characters description, it would not be based on any existing MG character so no knowledge needed). It would include Mouse Guard, Monks, Refugees, Otters, and other bits.
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"
Heck, anyone who had fun in those previous ones should be clamouring for Mouse Guard as it's a game for which you've got a passion so it'll be excellent!
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."
