I haven't seen this yet so I thought I ask. In the new PAC Move and Attack is changing.
NOW
Quote
MOVE AND ATTACK Give this character a move action when
it is not adjacent to an opposing character. The character can
move through squares adjacent to opposing characters. During its
movement, the character can make one close combat or ranged
combat attack as a free action. The character must be in a square
where it can legally end its movement in order to make the attack.
Modify its attack value by –2 (to a minimum attack value of 1)
for the duration of the attack. The character can use the rest of its
movement after making the attack.

MOVE AND ATTACK: When this character is not adjacent to an opposing character, it can use Hypersonic Speed, however its attack value is modified by -2 and it does not halve its range value.
Kid Zoom

STOP!: (non-optional) Other characters can't use Hypersonic Speed.
So... Kid Zoom will stop Move and Attack from that point on too?
Jimmy Olsen: "Hey, Robin! No green anymore, huh? Just red and black. What's with the new suit?
Robin: *looks up at Superboy's Statue* "They were his colors."
Superboy is the greatest hero of this comic book era.
Just outwit the power and smash zoom. sure his power makes it more difficult to play but if you think about it any power on anybody's dial makes them had to deal with.
Black Flash seems like mostly a waste without HSS. What would be the point of bringing him?
Black Flash has Quintessence, so he can push. He's got a high speed, so he can very likely base KZ. His special power poison will cause KZ to be dealt 2 damage, since KZ is using HSS.
Meanwhile, KZ, to hit Black Flash, needs to roll at least a 10.
On the other hand, Black Flash is 150 points, KZ is 87. So KZ has more support than Black Flash.
double poison, high attack, higher defense, phasing.
base kid zoom, he runs away, then base him again. he's either gonna push or take 2 from poison.
I did forget about the double poison. Overall I am more worried about Black Flash than Kid Zoom but Kid Zoom is still gonna be a great defense against him. If you keep Zoom back, you can just tie up Black Flash with someone else. And keep in mind that Black Flash is twice as expensive as Kid Zoom which means Kid Zoom has more friends to help take Black Flash out. Since I think we are about to see a lot of fairly cheese-tastic Black Flash teams I am happy to have anything that might take him out quicker. I can't wait to slap around Black Flash with AA Zoom, as I think he is still the best HSSer for the points in the game.
Kid Zoom will hopefully give pause to all the HSS happy players out there as he will be in a lot of tournies now.
I second that Inertia is the more dangerous of the two in general. Kid Zoom can really bust up some figures, but Inertia messes up just about anybody's day. During the release I had one opponent so frustrated by Inertia's special power that he nearly gave up. When I used Kid Zoom people had to change their play-styles in some cases, but eventually got past it.

exactly right about BF, yeah KZ gets a little more support, but if played right BF SHOULD be more effective. His higher attack and higher defense coupled with the Q TA is more than worth the points for me. I was being sarcastic in the 1st post i made, but I really do feel that BF will hand KZ his backside.
