I wanted to build a team around E Nigma.
I ended up going Ult Thor, Nigma, PMan & IF, Kabuki, and 2 others for a Celebrity Themed team. I was jazzed, Thor every turn with Enhancement and defended with an 18 Def.

I don't know if it was a bad team, but it played horribly. I barely won 1 game and got smoked the other 2 games.

Give Odin the action to turn oracle to click 2. Odin: MC, Phasing, Pulse Wave, Super Strength, Impervious, ESD, Outwit, Perplex, plus ICWO "self-perplex" on a 19 defense. Unhittable, unoutwitable and dishes like 7-8 unreduced damage. And some backup attacking, tie up piece and some support.

I've dropped teams of 800 plus points. One hit from beating 1000 points once. Just mean

I don't remember the rest but it was a bunch of small guys with outwit and prob control and some TK. Bottom line, Swap things went on a spree and never, ever died

Those don't sound like bad teams, they sound like teams that worked out pretty good for you.

Within days of the release of Rookie con-artist I made a team with:

Avalanche
Phoenix
2 x Invisible woman
A couple medics
and 18+ con-artist


This was back before pulse wave couldn't target your own units so I setup all the Hookers to take a 1 point pulse and then shot a 10-15 damage shot at anything within 15-20 squares of phoenix. To protect the hookers for EE I had them all chill next to Sue so they all had 18 defence...

I played it once, and it ruined the tournament scene. We had to create our own ban list before anyone would play again.... Fun times :P
