Again, this figure is bizarre in that it represents an incredibly brief moment in the story, but does it very well. I can't see it being that playable outside of special scenarios and event dials, but there are some of those in which they'll be very useful.

dr. m should have more then barrier supersenses even with silk spectre bringing him down. pricey for a piece that never gets above 2 damage and no damage reducers.
for 150 i rather use namor, this fig should better defense powers and more damage
U keep comparing figs to stoopidly cheap figures that no one has fun playing against, idk about u but i like to have fun playing, thats like goin 2 kristoffs dial and saying OHH id rather use The Thing (one of the cheapest figures in the game that no one has fun with) so if u like winning and having no fun at all when playing then go ahead and play namor and other figures like that :)
If they had a base 2 dmg for there speed sp it could be alot of fun. Use them to attak a fig or 2 then move them into yout figs to finish them off. It seems like with only 2 base dmg they will have to be seconfary attakers. I don't know will have to play around with this a little bit and see what happens. Although I do see how this could be exploited and make it a very good figure. Being able to move a figure you just hit for 3 dmg ( if they don't have any dmg reducers ) anywhere within 9 spaces is very useful.

ZOMG!!!! (seriously now) dude do you EVER have anyhting good to say about the fig you're reviewing? you never say "oh i like this fig, it has good support value," you always say "ugh i hate this fig, its not ridiculously overpowered." c'mon man, get some strategy!!
is the movement special really tk? It doesn't say anything requiring line of sight. can u place the attacked character beyond walls and blocking terrain if the unoccupied square is still within their movement value?
in regards to their Def special does "Once per turn" mean the Barriers can be placed on ur turn as well as your opponent's turn?

No, the move special is NOT TK.
Yes, you can place the target beyond walls and blocking terrain.
They can use Barrier only during their turn, since Barrier can only be used during their turn (as per the PAC).
I appreciate the weirdness of this piece, representing Dr. Manhattan not really invested in what's going on much (we've already gotten a no-holds-barred version). It's hard to imagine why he doesn't have Senses on click 1, but it's a sour point, since pushing to get Senses costs you an attack and defense number. Forget about Barriering on click 1 (you paid 150 for that?) and instead either Duo-smack somebody with no reducers or go for the CCE hold. Don't forget he can do a Move & Attack drive-by, something that becomes a neat option on clicks 4 and 5 when his power lets him move away a foe to safe distance and his attack has peaked.
This guy's late dial is particularly interesting... free-action Barrier can be incredible at board control. If you engage an opponent on the diagonal, you can use it to separate yourself from a foe or a counterattack before moving, or after attacking, as you wish. The placement SP is particularly sick in combination with the Barrier, as you can often pin an opponent *permanently* against some wall or in a corner and fence them in with endless Barriers. It can literally mean the end of an opposing figure on the spot while you can take your time shooting at them or engaging on the safe diagonal.
