View Poll Results: What is your favorite Star Trek movie?
haha you the man, Malakim. must spread rep around before blah blah
I went with The Undiscovered Country. From beginning to end it had everything I wanted to see. Excelsior and the energy wave, UFP politics, that awesome trial, Great Klingons, Rura Penthe, Space Battles, and a great passing of the torch. Even if the following crew didn't carry that torch too well.
Khan was outstanding, The Motion Picture was good (if a little slow).
Gotta say that I really liked the new Abrams-Trek too. By no means the deepest ST tale it was a great action flick and for the most part the new actors did well. I thought I would hate all of them when I first heard about the movie. Star Trek really needed a new direction and got it. Which also brings the question to mind:
Is Zoe Saldana hotter than any other actress in Star Trek? Yes, yes she is.

Wrath of Khan
First Contact
Undiscovered Country
Voyage Home
Search For Spock
Generations
Final Frontier
Insurrection
The Motion Picture
Nemesis
The one thing I didn't like about Undiscovered Country -- and really, who couldn't love a Shakespeare-quoting Klingon Christopher Plummer -- was the predictibility of the conspiracy... I mean, there was ONE Romulan in the movie... of COURSE he was in the conspiracy... they should have just arrested him at the beginning of the movie.
Note: I did not include JJ Abrams' Star Trek in this set, because it is an alternate timeline... but it would be VERY high in the list if we were to compare it.

To be frank, there wasn't really much in the way of competition to that point.
Personally, I go like this (from best to worst):
Undiscovered Country
Wrath of Khan
Abrams Trek
First Contact
Voyage Home
Search for Spock
Motion Picture
Generations
Nemesis
Insurrection
Final Frontier

I voted for Wrath of Khan, because it is clearly the greatest Star Trek movie of all time, but... somebody needs to vote for the Abrahms reboot, it was really good.
I won't get into the obviously sexist and fallacious arguments about sexiest Star Trek actresses. Though Zoë Saldana is certainly on the list.
JJ STINO (Star Trek in name only) is a travesty of both cinema and Trek. The script came off as someone whose only knowledge of Trek came from Futurama and various other parodies and jabs at Trek not to mention the contrivances and lack of internal consistency.
From 3rd year cadet on probation for cheating to Captain of the fleet's flagship? **facepalm**
I'm trying not to get too excited about Trek clix as it will no doubt pay that travesty of cinema far to much attention.

Agreed, this was utterly ridiculous.
I voted for Undiscovered Country. I absolutely loved seeing the Excelsior and the Enterprise in action together at the end of the movie. And what's not to love about a Bird of Prey that can fire while cloaked?
It was a choice between the reboot (the best movie, in my opinion) and Trek IV (because I was in that one).
OMG, I just realized that you played the part of the punk rocker in IV who gets Vulcan nerve-pinched by Spock on the bus!!! Too cool!!
