Anyone care to catch us up on this newish story? Is it worth getting into?

Marvel seems to be keeping mum on what's going on until the "Death of Dracula" comic comes out this month.

It's supposed to be some kind of big event, but so far it just looks silly.

Thanks Raven. I saw it in the June Previews and was a little shy since it is a mulit issue story arch much like the Daredevil one. So many comics so little cash.

I had about 20 seconds of being excited about a new Dracula event at Marvel until I realized it was just another X-Men event. The mutant corner of the Marvel universe is not for me.

I don't read many x-titles but that story sounded like fun when I saw the preview. There have been so many ongoing stories. I think a short fun arch would be great. Well fun idea anyhow.

Looks like a good old time to me.

I'm particularly excited about the Namor v. Underwater Vampires book that will be coming out

I hope Wolverine becomes Lord of the Vampires. That was a good What If.

That WAS a good What If?. It has always held a place as one of my favorites from that title. So much so I ran a role playing scenario around the concept.

It is about time Dracula and the X-Men crossed paths again. Those old storie were fantastic.

True, but it should be true vampires, not energy vampires like Seline or Eli Bard (even though I did enjoy Necrosha too).

The Dracula vs Apocalypse story was great.

We learned that Blink and Chamber are both decedents of Apocalypse.


Then they brought Dracula back in Cap Britian and the MI 13 which was just AWESOME end if a little rushed with Black Knight and Excalibur!!! Seriously they really built up Blade's character.


So my hopes are if the vampires invade Xmen land it'll involve Blade and Spitfire going to their aid (Northstar vamp vs Spitfire would be fun.) We already know Jubilee is coming in as a vampire so it would be even more fun to see some of her old Gen X/New Warrior team mates to come to her rescue (Chamber cough cough) of course Im always looking for a way to bring in Deadgirl.
