I've had an idea for awhile of making a 300pt theme team using only figures that recieved a rating of 5-stars on the HCREALMS units page, here's the team I came up with using the scientist keyword

Crisis SR Flash 123pts
+Protected 8pts
FF Starter Mr. Fantastic 100pts
MU Dark Beast 69pts
total build: 300

my question is, does this team stand a chance competively?

I don't know, I think it would be hard to make this team work competitively.

Not that teams HAVE to have a figure doing 3 or more damage to be competitive, but I think this team is going to have a difficult time dealing damage. That Flash is a difficult character to use in a game -- I think he plays much better in larger-point games where he can run out and attack at his leisure, not HAVING to attack because he is more than 1/3 your point total.

Dark Beast is great, but I've never unfortunately been able to pull off his Cruel Experiment power, even when I've been trying.

It would be a real challenging team to do well with -- but if you can kick butt with that team, you'd certainly have bragging rights!

Ive found in my limited experience most teams include a way to do damage without and attack ie poison or Mystics. Beast fits that but its not till late dial so with only three chars. it may be difficult but not impossible.
