Trophy Style Large less playable figures? Like Spider-Man, Clown Prince, Worlds Finest?

Or the More Streamlined and Competitive figures like Dark Beast, Batman and Catwoman, and (its up for debate but I agree) SS:Illuminati?

There are enough playable pieces per set. I'm a player and collector.

Both I like the Trophy but still think it should be playable. Clown prince is the perfect example. Spiderman just fell flat with that extra sized base and 6 clix of life.

I prefer the small base types. I don't mind the display types but i would rarely see 1 of them a year instead of 3 a year.

My only gripe with Spidy is that they gave him a 2x2 and then 6 clicks of life.

If you are going to make him that big, use the dial. Otherwise, pointless.

I guess I don't see where "large base" immediately becomes "unplayable trash". World's Finest simply wasn't well designed. Clown Prince is a weird finesse piece for sure, but is very playable. And I haven't used him yet, but the brick Spidey looks great to me.

That said, I'll take the larger base figures because there are few other ways of releasing them. You can't put them in packs, so making them brick figures is a great way to go. I think the big base has been a bit overused and would be better suited to really beefy characters (not necessarily Sentinel big, but I think we could easily get a really hulked-up Hulk on one).

I would be up for a peanut-base figure. We haven't had one of those before.

Except the batman catwoman right.

How about a smaller figure(s) on a 3x6 base? Master Mold or Uatu the Watcher would be perfect.

hey i like my world finest. i have used it before and owned with it. i'm 2-1 so far.

I like the display figures but figures that I'll be able to use would be nice to. Right now I'm more of a collector since there isn't anyone around me to play with (I make moc up games with my 4 month old daughter, funny thing is she wins alot). But I would be getting this Spider-man for the sculpt whether it had a great dial or a #### dial.

I don't care about size of dial base or if it has to look like a greek statue, I want it handed out like Ragnarok Sutur when I pay.

It's like when woman say size doesn't matter...

Once again, I'll point out how it shouldn't take a genius to figure out that the size of the sculpt dictated the size of the base that got used....

Really, if you take a fist sized city-scape & stick a Spidy fig on it, what size of base would YOU use?

I prefer a playable piece as apposed to a show piece, although I did win a tourny with World's finest, that fig is serious
