I have a few questions regarding the original Galactus scenario.
Quote
From the Galactus Scenario rules:
Characters and terrain do not block, or impose the hindering terrain modifier on, lines of fire drawn to or from Galactus.
1) Can Possession be used on Galactus during the scenario? The rules or errata state nothing about this power being ignored.
2) Can the Drag feat be used to reposition Galactus? The Galactus Scenario rules state that Galactus cannot be moved. But Drag has the wording "place", which is different that "move". So it appears that Galactus can be affected by this feat.
3) Can Galactus draw LOF to a character assigned either the Camouflage or Submerged feat cards?
Quote
Submerged Prerequisites:
Choose a character.
(optional) When the character occupies water terrain, lines of fire drawn to it are blocked.
Quote
Camouflage Prerequisites: Shape Change
Choose a character.
When the character is adjacent to a wall or blocking terrain, any line of fire for a ranged combat attack drawn to the character is blocked.
I would say Galactus could see a Submerged character, because the feat grants the ability when in Water Terrain, and for the Galactus scenario, terrain is ignored for LOF.
However, Camouflage is a bit difference. It appears that during the scenario, Galactus would not be able to draw a LOF to the figure for attack purposes.
Any help with these questions will be greatly appreciated.

Yes. If it's not on the list, then he IS affected by it.

Yes to this as well, due to wording of "placed" instead of "move."

I would say that Galactus can draw line of fire in both cases, because the FEAT is what is actually causing the line of fire to be blocked, not the terrain. and Galactus's rules state:
Quote

Although I could be wrong on this one.

This is technically correct, but it can make the scenario quite unfun, like placing the Shield Disruptor next to him. If it's not going to be fun, then what's the point?

Back when water terrain was hindering terrain, Superman could see a Submerged guy because he ignored the terrain.
More recently, however, the ruling has been the opposite.

Although Susan Richards ignores terrain for her ranged attacks when she uses To the Negative Zone, characters can still use terrain for the attack. For example, a character with Camouflage would still have lines of fire to it blocked.

I'd like to think that dragging around a 600 point Galactus with an 11 point Matter-Eater Lad pog is its own reward.

You could always suggest erratas for Galactus in the Deputy Cave. His rules were written long before move/place existed in the game, not to mention feats, special powers, etc.

I agree. For the scenario, I did not allow 2-D special objects, specifically because of the Shield Disruptor. I used once during the Galactus scenario, and saw it made the scenario way too easy. I did allow 3-D and standard objects.
Also, Power Dampening Field can really ruin the fun of the Galactus scenario, so I did not allow any BFC's for the scenario.

Ahhh.. that is right... I forgot about the clarification for Camouflage. Even a character that ignores terrain for LOF does not ignore Camouflage, hence cannot draw LOF! I remember now, thanks for reminding me.
Which reminds me... damn, I should have checked the Player's Guides, as it answers both my questions regarding Camouflage and Submerged. For the Galactus scenario, Galactus would not be able to draw LOF for combat attack purposes.
That was a noob move on my part to ask the question without looking up in guide first.

OK, so Possession works against Galactus, and so would Drag. Thanks a bunch!
