I have these Blade heroclixs that I would like to use in the next upcoming local tournament. But my problem there is that the Blade heroclixs are suffering (or about to) from broken ankles.
Now, what I want to do is just cut all the Blades at the waist and cut all of my rookie Banes at the waist and then just glue Banes' legs to my Blades' bodies. Then I just touch them up with some paint and some good old american know-how. Maybe remove the sword from Blade's right hand and put in an Uzi instead.
So by doing this repair job not only do I get playable Blades but I'll also be preventing Blade from snaping off his base in the future. :D
Sooo...my question is: Can I still use my repaired (and improved) Blades in tournaments?
Keep in mind that I didn't do any to the bases nor to the stats. And the changes wouldn't be so insanely radical that you couldn't tell who it was any more. The only changes would be that he's now got two legs connected to the base instead of one. And maybe an uzi in the right hand. Otherwise none thing else has been change.
As long as you show the judge that the number on the base and the number on the dial are the same and unaltered - you should be able to play with the figure.
