so i am stuck in a bind this Sunday is a 500 point game no restrictions game

i have 414 points so far i need to fill the rest just don't know with what yet i need help so my heroclix friends any idea's here is what i have so far .. fill free to make a new team that you might want to throw out there but this is what i have


the atom - 65
Thor - 226
fortitude on thor - 25
thing - 100

?????

so any ideas on how to make it better or what other figs can i use to finish this team off .. once again figs is not a prob

Taking a look at the figures you've already selected, you've got the following positions covered:

Long-range beatstick: Thor
Close combat beatstick: Thing

Then, out the "pit crew" STOPP (Support, TK, Outwit, Prob Control, Perplex) formula, you've got Support covered with Atom. (You can't count on his Outwit, it's too far in his dial, and you won't want to push him off his Support clicks anyway.)

So, out of your remaining 84 points, you could fill in some more "pit crew" positions, and/or you could look for some low-cost tie-up figures or secondary attackers to protect your two main fighters until they get into the battle (plus, at 500 points, if you only have three-four figures, you run a big risk of getting out-actioned by a team with more figures).

I would recommend:

For Outwit and (modified) Perplex, and for overall annoyingness and close-combat secondary attacker goodness, I'd pick The Question from AA for 37 points. Her dial proves that while there may be a point formula, it can bend with Inception-like trippyness... I would add Infiltrate on her for 2 points, so she can literally go where she wants on the battlefield, and can put the close-combat hurt on someone when she gets there.

I'd also add a good tie-up figure or secondary attacker -- the Universe Starter Spider-Man for 40 points. He's a great secondary attacker and he's a wild card, so he can use the F4 TA with Thing. Putting Lunge on him for 5 points makes him all the better.

So the team could look like this:

Yes, it gives him an ability to move two squares before he attacks -- like a mini-Charge.
