A nasty dial, but she doesn't deserve to be that hard to hit. A trait that grants two defense powers on a dial with no powers in the defense slot? Whatsupwiththat?
Not too crazy about the X-Force outfit, so I may have to swap her sculpt out for the old Infinity Challenge one (which is one of the few sculpts from that set that still looks good in my humble opinion).
I just hope that the Battle Fury isn't flavor-texted to "Kill the Angel" because the less I can be reminded of her stint in X-Force the better.
ASK ME ONCE I’LL ANSWER TWICE JUST WHAT I KNOW I’LL TELL BECAUSE I WANNA!
SOUND DEVICE AND LOTS OF ICE I'LL SPELL MY NAME OUT LOUD BECAUSE I WANNA!
Score: 90%. Her dial and playability are 100%. This is a crazy figure. It's overkill if they were trying to make up for her original dial. Ignore the trait, and she's worth the price... Hey! Do you think they forgot to add in the cost of her trait when designing this character?

I don't think she's overkill at all, because she's limited in use. She's just very good at what she does. For 65 points, she's probably the best tie up piece in the game, but her worth will be situational. Against a big stick 300 point team, she will be OP as long as the big stick doesn't have Hypersonic. You can effectively neutralize 200 points of your opponent's team.
Against an army of smaller characters, she's still good but her effectiveness lessens significantly. There's little chance they'll be able to kill her, but your opponent can avoid her and win on points since you're using up over a fifth of your points on a character who has invested everything in the ability to avoid getting hit.

I disagree fervently. Two clicks of Charge, four clicks of BCF and solid (if not spectacular) AVs through the whole dial is a very solid offensive arsenal for 65 points. The X-Men TA lets her play well with others, and since it can get her back on her move and attack clicks if anyone ever hits her off them, she won't be as easy to avoid as you indicate.
Defense may be her best quality, but she's mobile and damage capable enough that she's definitely not investing everything in damage avoidance. Play 4 Wolfbanes and a Marvel Girl in a 300 points setting against an army of smaller characters, and they'll tear the opposition apart in many cases, I have no doubt.

Well, if you're cheesing it up with a whole team of Wolfsbanes, then yeah, she can't really be avoided. But you're ignoring something pretty important. On her first click, she's a defensive powerhouse, but she has no mobility and without willpower, you're probably going to have to push to do any damage to someone who is trying to avoid you. You're probably also going to have to leave hindering terrain. Once you do that, you open yourself up to ranged attacks, meaning your defense is now 16 or 17 instead of 18 or 19 and your shape change can be outwitted. If I make you come to me, she's not so bad to deal with.
And you'll never be able to have a team full of Wolfsbanes, because if she becomes that popular, everyone will start playing the Wolfsbane killer. Bullseye ignores Super Senses and Shape Change. He's also a Sharpshooter, so even if you base him, he can use a ranged attack making Combat Reflexes useless. He also has a 12 attack and the ability to have 3 or 4 damage on every click of his dial (if he perplexes on 3 and 4) so he only needs a 4 or 5 to hit her with no avoidance and one shot makes her useless. At the same time, his defense is 17 or 18 plus Combat Reflexes. If Wolfsbane is pushed to her second click, which she'd have to be to be able to charge him, and Bullseye is pushed to his second click (because it's the sweet spot) she would need an 11 to hit him.
For 117 points versus 130, I'll take Bullseye up against 2 Wolfsbanes any day of the week and probably win 99% of the time. Because unless you're going to sit in Stealth without moving, you're extremely vulnerable. And if you're just going to sit there, I'll pick apart the rest of your team while you sit there with wasted points. Even with TK, your chance to hit is crap and with 10 range, Bullseye can pick apart Marvel Girl.
This piece is just gonzo, I don't know what they are thinking stacking up all those defense abilities. Any 10 attack adjacent to her stands a pitiful chance of hitting, and games are going to drag out thanks to the diminishing odds of people succeeding in their attacks.
I am happy to see Rahne in good form to do something on the field, but I think I'm tired of Combat Reflexes everywhere and her "Shape Change" isn't something that's really tactical in the comics... she doesn't avoid attacks by prancing around as a human. She isn't Chameleon. Deception isn't her thing.

Nightcrawler is tough to hit, but somehow this girl is just as hard to hit. It's sad when this figure who costs only 65 pts. can threaten figures that are double or triple her cost.
unlike x-23, wolfsbane actually have a good chance of chasing down even range character. Stealth makes him very hard to kill, and SS+SC combo will keep him alive while he chases down his prey.
i dont recall wolfesbane being that hard to hit in the comics but this piece is incredible for 65pts the new queen of tiedown and with the right feats she is broken period but the xmen did need and upgrade so her and wolverine are a good start
