WOS already out in Australia!

I went into my store today to find out that they have already got Web of Spidey in! I told the owner that it's not supposed to be out until next week, so he rang the supplier to see if he could sell it yet. They said to go right ahead (foolishly perhaps?), so I got my brick already!

Well that makes up for all the sets that came out weeks late a bit.

I'm only going to open 2 boosters per day so that I can savour the enjoyment of opening them more. I have only opened one so far and got:

Solo - pretty cool figure
Ironclad - Cool!
Researcher - Meh.
Eddie Brock - Interesting
Daken - Not bad

Nice!

I am SO jealous. But I did get lucky and already have Groot, Black Cat, Peter Parker, and Spider-Man through decent trades.

The Tin Soldier has been expecting to receive Web of Spider-Man well before the release date; I haven't had any time to visit them and check, but supposedly the delivery was due in last Friday, and the distributor (Ikon?) hadn't told them anything about not putting it on sale immediately. It's entirely possible that the change in official release dates was never communicated to the Australian distributor, who probably think that the street date was a month ago.

Assuming that it is in stock, we'll be having a sealed game tomorrow.

Well they should have it, as I know my venue actually recieved theirs last Friday but only brought it out to sell today.
