History records that the zombie outbreak originated in a rural community in China. The horrible pandemic quickly spread across the globe, initially referred to as "African rabies." Before long, Israel and South Africa had implemented quarantine programs and worked furiously to check the plague. The United States, on the other hand, was ill prepared when the zombie outbreak finally reached its national borders.

New information has come to light indicating that the plague's point of origin was Philadelphia, PA. It happened specifically sometime during the weekend of June 11-13, 2010, at the Wizard World Philadelphia convention. One of the HCR members who attended the con has been designated as Patient Zero - but we do not know the name of the individual who unwittingly unleashed the outbreak.

WARNING:

Participation in this game could result in becoming infected with the zombie plague. Worse, it could also mean a gruesome ending as you are torn to pieces by a ravenous hoard of ghouls whose only mindless purpose is savoring your brains "al dente".

One thing is for certain - someone must die on Day 1.
