The voice of Recluse roars across the field, drowning out even the scream of reality itself as the Destiny Portal tears time and space asunder, disgorging the Arch-duke of Anarchy himself and his most loyal minions into the neatly maintained park just outside the Legion of Super-Heroes' clubhouse in the 30th Century.

"It took more resources that I cared to spend to convince those meddling worms of Ouroboros to reveal what they knew about the time-displaced fools that dare attack my stronghold, but Recluse NEVER leaves an insult unanswered!"

Turning to the towering Club-house, Recluse roars at the top of his lungs, his voice carrying the very chill of Tartaros with it.

"The time of your reckoning has come children! You dared strike at the Spider in the heart of his own lair, now brave his BITE!"

"#### YEAH!" Silver Mantis laughs with a manic grin. "You tell 'em boss! I've been spoilin' for a rematch ever since those brats ran away from us back at the beach!"

With a heavy sigh, Scirocco draws his enchanted blade. "I take no pleasure in spilling the blood of children, but actions must have consequences. They chose to sow the wind, and now they must reap the hurricane!"

free) A sinister smile spreads across Recluse's darkened features as he watches Scirocco masterfully deflect Mon-El's heat vision with his enchanted scimitar, with the aid of the protective enchantments of the Mu Mystics under his command, sending the blazing attack straight back into the young Daxamite's face! Recluse displays schadenfreude worthy of a true villain and rolls for Leadership. Roll is: 3. Scirocco tries the same, inspired by his good fortune. Roll is: 1

1) "Even in this time, my vision remains clear!" Kalinda quickly teleports to H20

free) "You may one step ahead of everyone else, Time Lord, but your mind is still an open book to on of my power!" Kalinda outwits Rip's Time Master special power.

2) "I did not start this battle whelp, but I shall finish it if I must!" Scirocco points the blade of his scimitar at Mon-El and fires a crackling blast of crimson lightning. 11 atk. vs 16 def. Needs a 5. Roll is: (1,4) for a 5 and just barely a hit! Since using Protected wouldn't do any good besides giving Mon-El a second token I assume you'll want to let the hit stand, dealing Mon 1 damage after invulnerability. 1 SA for Scirocco!

The arcane lightning of the Mu streaks across the field at the speed of light, scourging the heroic teenager with incredible strength, though he somehow manages to shake off the brunt of the vicious attack.

3) "Now suffer and DIE for your impudence!" Recluse rushes towards the staggered Mon-El with murder gleaming in his eyes. Recluse takes a CP token to increase his attack to 10 and tries to charge to E21. Hypertime roll is: 3 and he's good. 9 (+1 from CP) atk. vs 15 def. Needs a 5. Roll is: (6,3) for a 9 and an easy hit! This time, Protected would make a rather substantial difference, so I assume Mon-El burns it to save himself from a mighty wallop and takes 1 from the push instead. 1 SA to Recluse.

Recovering just in time to see Recluse unleash a murderous blow towards his head with the Superboy inertron statue, Mon-El has just enough time to activate Rip's Time Shunt device, sending an otherwise crippling blow spinning aimlessly through a time vortex instead, though the strain of doing so taxes even Mon-El's Daxamite physiology to the brink!

4) "Hey! Save some of the fun for me boss!" Mantis shouts, running in to join the fray. Mantis tries to move to F20. Hypertime roll is: 3 and she makes it!

1) "Hey kid, remember me? You missed out on all the fun we could've had together last time, when you blew me off, now it's payback time, and if you can't guess what payback is, you're looking at her!" Mantis laughs madly as she leaps on Mon-El like a dervish, slashing, ripping and flaying! Mantis flurries Mon-El, using Blades, taking a CP token to increase her attack. 10 (+1 from CP) atk. vs 15 def. Needs a 4. Roll is: (6,4) for a 10 and a hit! Blades roll is: 1! No damage thanks to toughness! Second attack. Still needs a 4. Roll is: (3,5) for an 8 and a hit! Blades roll is: 6! Mon-El takes 5 after toughness and is KO'ed! 1 SA and 1 KO for Mantis who takes 1 from the push.

Though able to hold even Silver Mantis' frenzied assault at bay initially, even Mon-El has his limits, and after a brief but intense struggle, Mantis cackles in maniacal glee as one of her spike-emblazoned punches catches Mon-El in the side and tears him open!

Gasping in equal amounts of shock and pain, Mon-El pales and collapses to the ground in a pool of blood. "Aww... poor baby? Did that hurt? Lead poisoning is such a #####, isn't it?" Mantis laughs wickedly as she licks the blood from her lead-tipped spikes with unholy glee shining in her eyes!
