Justice Society Of America 80 Page Giant 2010 #1

The HoM annual isn't as good as last years (although seeing Cain and Abel again is fun). Some of the stories are OK, but they ultimately don't mean much in relation to their individual series. Certainly not worth $5.00.

Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne #5 Wow. Morrison continues to tie together all of the elements from Final Crisis and RIP, delving into the days after the Wayne's Death and how Hurt was able to create the scandalous footage of them, while also tying into Milligan's "Dark Knight, Dark City", the old Carter Nichols character and even a nod to "Gothic".
Bruce wakes up about 30 years ago, still with no memory and is asked to prove that a billionaire called Thomas Wayne faked his death and murdered his wife. All is not as it seems, and by the end, all is REALLY not as it seems. Can't wait to see what happens when the B&R story collides with this one.

This was fun, fun, fun.

I loved the noir beats and the satanism. Goooooood time.

My wallet says OUCH! (Gotta remember to get the store this weekend, though!)
