I wondering about adjacency through diagonal Barrier tokens. Can characters make attacks through them? Below, can the characters make a close combat attack on eachother?

That is continuous blocking terrain. Can't move through, can't draw LOF through it, and can't be adjacent through it.

No. The two squares are not adjacent. (Although the rules use to express this better than they do now.)

Yes. In that case, the Barriers would be outdoor blocking terrain and characters using the Flight ability ignore the effects of outdoor blocking terrain on movement.
