I have a bit of a noon question concerning giving actions and pushing damage. Say if I give q character pushing damage how exactly would the action tokens be cleared and is it possible to give them another action after they've taken push damage. Or does taking push damage clear off the tokens.
Ok turn one. YOu move a fig. Turn two you "push" to attack another fig. After you finish the action and add the second token, the character takes "pushing" damage, unless he has something to stop it, i.e. Willpower or indom. Turn 3 the character cannot act as he has 2 tokens already and at the end of the turn he clears (removes the tokens). Helpfull?
Sigh... I wish I had something clever or witty to put here...
Pushing Damage happens when a character takes a second action token. This can happen a few ways:
1) They are given non-free action two turns in a row.
2) Through a power or ability (like Incapacitate).
Once they've taken push Damage (through being given a second token), there are very few ways for them to act. Certain powers will remove an action token from them, and allow them to be given an action on their next turn. The Master Of Evil TA allows a character to go turn, after turn, after turn, but after the 2nd turn it is no longer 'push' Damage, and it is simply 'unavoidable' Damage.
Action tokens are cleared at the end of a turn if the character has taken no non-free* actions that turn.
*Free actions are things like Perplex, Outwit, SHIELD TA etc.
