A character with and 4 damage targets 2 pieces. Piece A has a 17 with combat reflexes and piece B has an 18 with supersenses. The attacker has an 11 attack. The dice are rolled and the result is an 8.
Question: Does character B roll supersenses before the attacker decides how to divide the damage or after the amount of damage has bee decided?
These are correct. And here is the description of the powers as 'proof':
Super Senses
When this character is hit by an attack, roll a d6 before damage is dealt. On a result of 5 or 6, this character evades the attack.
Impervious
(Non-Optional) When this character is dealt damage, roll a d6. On a result of 5 or 6, the damage dealt is reduced to 0. On a result of 1–4, the damage dealt is reduced by 2.

What part is confusing?
An example:
Clix A targets Cliz X (no defensive powers) and Clix Z (has Super Senses).
Clix A rolls and hits both. At this point Clix Z gets to roll for Super Senses. No damage has been assigned at this point.
After the Super Senses roll is made damage will be assignd/dealt. If the SS roll was succesful all damage can be assigned to Clix X. If the roll failed then damage can be split however Clix A wants.

im just wondering how combat reflexes come into play when ur shooting 2 figs...
It doesn't. Combat Reflexes is used in Close Comabt and "shooting" implies a ranged attack.
And CR is ignored in ranged attacks.
Note: there are Knockback issues to consider when damage is dealt.
COMBAT REFLEXES Modify this character’s defense value by +2 against close combat attacks. When this character is dealt damage from an attack, it may choose to be knocked back. This character ignores knock back damage.

My question to this does he have to declare how to divide damage first, jf he decides not to give damage to character B then why would he have to roll SS to evade attack if no damage will be dealt. And then knowing this if character B rolls a successful SS before damage is decided then the player can give all damage to character A instead. So does damage dealt have to be decided first say 2 damage to character A and 2 damage to character B then character B rolls successful SS and only 2 damage will be dealt to character A instead of 4 damage.

The attack hits.
Super Senses is rolled.
Damage dealt is divided between all hit targets, discluding the ones whose Super Senses roll succeeded.
Impervious is rolled.
