The original by Bruce Springsteen is one of the best songs I've seen from him. I am not a huge fan of his performances, but do like lots of the songs that he's shared with others. This has some bluesey moments, and I think it was close, but not close enough to something really good.

Manfred Mann never seems to waste a good song, and I think they really did a great job here. I may have to buy this tomorrow.

The cover by Manfred Mann's Earth Band is my favorite.

I usually like Manfred Mann's stuff a lot, but in this case I'm going to throw a bone to Bruce.

Cant say I overly care for either, and Bruce's song being a live version hurt it IMO, but since I think I liked them both evenly, Ill go with Springsteen here.

I've always been a huge fan of this Manfred Mann version. I like it better then Blinded By The Light even. My vote is for Manfred Mann.

Not the biggest Springsteen fan, but I did like both versions of this song, different though they are. Mann's is much mellower almost psychedelic. I actually thought the live version on Springsteen's helped it. I really liked the raw energy. I also preferred the sound on the instrumentals. It just felt like a great impromptu jam session. I could see there being times I'd be more in the mood for Manfred Mann's more electro-synth sound, but overall, I'll be voting for Bruce here.
