Steal Energy
A character using Steal Energy while on their first click is not considered healed when an opposing character takes damage from a close combat attack.
Since they would not heal, the trait will not activate.

But if the character was on their 2nd or further click, then the power would activate and I could heal another character then correct?
Salu Digby as LeVIathan in clix!

Another question. Morlun "Morlun can use Steal Energy. Whenever Morlun is healed using Steal Energy, you may place a tracking token on the targeted character's card."
It doesn't say he has to be healed by HIS Steal Energy...

Are you asking if Scar's trait, when used to heal Morlun, would cause Morlun to place a tracking token?
If so, I am not sure. On the one hand, the healing is caused (initially, at least) by Steal Energy. On the other, the healing of another character (not the character using SE) is caused by Scar's trait.
I'm leaning towards "yes, that will work (provided Morlun is actually healed, of course, and not on his starting click)," but I can totally see it being a "no" answer, too.

If that works, that could be pretty fun to pull off. I could see it being ruled either way, though.

Morlun Moves to the middle of nowhere, Scar moves next to a big opposing guy.
Morlun gets shot and damage, Scar gets punched and damaged
Scar pushes (via Quintessence) hitting the big guy, uses SE to heal Morlun and gives Big Opponent a tracking token. Morlun pushes via Indomitable to fly over and own Big Opponent then heals himself. Or Scar.
"UNDEAD GUARDIAN OF THE BLACK: Whenever a friendly character would use Steal Energy to heal, instead heal 1 damage on any character on the map."
Im confussed about the verbage of who gets the token. Is it still scar? I ask becasue....it says whenever a friendly character would use. (not does use).

Well, the character still uses Steal Energy. The "would" modifies the complement "to heal".
In other words, the thing that is not taking place is the self-healing, not the use of Steal Energy.
What token? You don't get a token for using Steal Energy. It says "would use" because it is doing something instead of using that power. It can't say, "uses" because this power stops you from using it (or, gives you the option to be stopped using it). Here's how it works.
Scar is on a team with FF Rogue on one of her steal energy clicks.
Rogue makes a close combat attack on someone and hits. Normally, this would trigger her Steal Energy power and heal her of one damage. Instead, you use Scar to heal someone else of one damage.
It's just moving the benefit of steal energy to someone else.

They're refering to Morlun's tracking token, not an action token

Perhaps this will make it clearer to you:
