So DCU online launches next month (Maybe). Who all is picking it up for the PS3? I'm not a huge DC fan but still pretty excited to play the game just a bit bummed about the subscription fee.

I refuse to play any game that makes me pay a fee, it's always been a thing of mine. I'm sure it'll be a decent game but the fee was like a kick when you were already down. I like my Battlefield Bad Company 2 just fine, just waiting for Vietnam.

I guess it just depends on how many games you buy and how often. To me, if I can have fun playing the same game for an additional $15 each month instead of spending $50-$60 every two months for a new game, it's a worthy investment. Of course, some people can have fun playing the same game for months without buying anything else, so to each his own.

Subscription fee is expected for MMOs. My wife is in the beta but hasn't had time to install and run it. It looks good but hopefully can stay interesting.

I highly doubt it will be out next month. just saying. Still a LOT of bugs in beta

I'd say that's not happening. My spidey-sense is saying more March, maaaaaaaaaybe late February.

And I can have fun with a 10 year old game that I buy for 5 dollars.

So I'm with Exodus. I'd LOVE to play this game but looking at a 15 dollar fee each month? Well that's 2 or 3 games I could have instead. Or give up two, three months of that game? That's another brand new game. I can't justify that cost.
