Wow....I may say this ones much tougher than I had thought thinking Beatles vs. Sonic Youth. I may go Beatles, but only just.

What DTM said, but going to go Sonic Youth here by the slimmest of all margins ever.

Here's an acoustic version of the song that Patti Smith did, it's a completely different take than what the Beatles and Sonic Youth did.

Not my thing, but I am going to give it to Sonic Youth.

The Beatles felt longer even though it was shorter.

Still waiting for Gaard and Arion.

Egad, my LEAST favorite (by a LOT) Beatles song of all time.

I'm not kidding. Even when I had the black lights in my room and trippy posters on the walls, I didn't like this number.

And now? Better I should set aside an hour to weigh whether I prefer the original of "Cry for a Shadow" or the cover by the Translators, with multiple listenings of each required...until I suddenly get inspired to break out my old vinyl copy of "The Ventures in Space" LP...and then get further inspired to go against my chiropractor's orders and start doing my own crazed spin on the Curly Shuffle around the house to this...

So, due to medical reasons and a pre-existing condition stemming from an old touch football injury, I may ask to abstain on this particular vote...if that's permissable.
