while playing with my bros, they decided to outwit my charecter's power twice so i cant use it until the second outwiter's turn. im wondering if this can be possible.
event dial unlimited class wrestling
the scenario:
skrull illuminaty adjacent to apocalypes and outwits power, apoc passes to clear second token. monitor is two spaces and outwits the same power.
If I'm understanding the scenario, it's like this:
Player 1 outwitted something on Apocalypse. Normally this would last until Player 1's next turn.
Player 2 has Apocalypse and the power is outwitted still
Player 3's turn and he has an outwitter too. It is true that he cannot outwit something that's "not there".
However, if the goal is for Player 1 and Player 3 to be able to have a turn with the power outwitted, all they would need to do is...
Player 1 - avoid Apocalypse
Player 2 - takes his turn
Player 3 - outwits the power - at this point, the power is outwitted until Player 3's next turn (which means Player 1 will get his turn with the power still outwitted).
what about stacking perplex? Can the new WOS Doc Ock up his defense +4, just in case he gets perplexed down? does the rule of 3 kick in?
All modifiers stack. Modifers never cap out UNTIL the combat value is used, at which point the rule of three kicks in.
So Doc Ock can perplex his defense, he can apply it all to his defense for the exact contingency you mention (particularly useful when facing off against Police/Hydra)
