Hey Everyone,

So I've finally obtained a KC Green Lantern and just in time. This weekend were having a 700 pt Tourney, Golden Age, no limitations.

I feel this is the perfect opportunity to build a team around KC Green Lantern. Can you guys give me an idea of what characters I should put with him? Should I build a theme team (Future or Politician?)? Or just go with the best of the best.

I have the following "power" figs and a lot of stuff from DC75.

WOS Deadpool SR
WOS NightCrawler
SR Sinestro
Hulk 2099 (for Future Theme)
KC WonderWoman (ditto)

I love KC GL, my favorite fig out of all the ones I own!!!

First thing you need to do is get Elite Sniper (20 pts) on this guy, he sucks against Stealth!

Second, I think future is more fun to surround Alan with! So the first fig I'd use is Kid Zoom (87 pts) because the thing I've hated most when playing with the glass jaw that is GL is HSS, so get rid of it!

Third, get some PC and Outwit - Crisis Rip Hunter (97 pts) which when planted next to GL will make it so GL, Rip Hunter, and anyone else next to RH can't get outwitted!!!

This leaves 271 points to fill in with what you want from below!

Fourth, another big hitter! WoS Noh-Varr (141 pts), SI Immortus (157 pts), Supernova Kang the Conqueror (199 pts), KC Magog (209 pts - great when TK and charge with a heavy to exploit for 7!). KC Superman (265 Unleashed or 238 Crisis).

That leaves you with anywhere from 130 to 6 points of filler of other future keyword figs!

I think going with Immortus, Kang, or Magog are your best options because it gives you more room to work with to throw in some other good stuff - either support powers (perplex, outwit, pc, or support) or attacking!

Keep in mind those are both generic key words, so you'll need 7 figures to get the theme bonuses. You may just be better off using a mishmash of good pieces.

You've got KC GL with Elite Sniper or Trick Shot, so that's 245 points. I'd sidekick him with detective chimp for some outwit, stealth shield, and 20 defense.

For prob, nothing right now for me is beating Isis from DC75. She doubles as a TKer. Deadman and Martian Manhunter from Brightest Day would be excellent additions.

This is true about what he said. The only way I can see it as being feasible with what I suggested is to take Noh-Varr and add in JL Dream Girl (WC, PC, Outwit) and 2x Unleashed Brainiac 5 (Outwit, Perplex).

So if going theme isn't an option (though dropping KZ isn't going to kill you so that opens some points), go with Immortal_Raven's suggestion and just make a hodgepodge of good things!!!

I believe I have Kid Zoom, and I think he would be a great addition since I'm sure I'll be facing a lot of HSS. Actually, I'm giving my brother Cosmic Spiderman to use on his "cosmic" theme team. So, at the very least I'll want it to slow down CSM.

Here are some other thoughts I had.

1. Science Police for the PD ability to -1 opponents defenses.
2. CT Rookie Invisible Girl, to give 18 defend to everyone adjacent to her. Just in case KC GL Gets hit, at least he'll manage to keep a good defense.
3. Think I have Rip Hunter, if not, hopefully I can get him from someone at my local shop.
4. Definitely going to use Trick Shot and Sniper. Don't think I have the Feats, but if not, I'll probably trade or print them.
5. Mandriod Robots for cheap TK.
