I want to build a 300pt and a 500pt "monster" keyword themed team, using the symbiote characters from Web of Spider-man. Here's what figs I have now:
3x eddie brock
2x symbiote (<-- if I need more of these let me know)
2x venom (normal/ AE)
1x anti-venom
1x carnage
1x toxin
1x venom (limited edition/ dark avengers)

I have a basic idea for the 300 team but I'm still open for suggestions, and I have no idea how to put together a 500 pt team for this. I would prefer to keep this modern age if possible, and I am on a tight budget so nothing too expensive. Please, if you have any ideas, or suggestions on stuff to add, please post below. Thanks

I tried playing this team at 300 points:

49 WoS Symbiote
70 WoS Venom
93 WS Doppelganger
87 (Ult) Carnage

My experience was that each of the figures is individually good, but that they don't offer enough options to be effective as a force...each figure is essentially a "tie-up" piece.

The "villainous" symbiotes didn't seem to be as threatening as the more heroic Spider-Man dials. Let us know how your team does.

Couple quick questions:

Are you only looking to use WoS figs?

If not, is this Golden or Modern?

Two of the figures I reach for first on my Monster teams are Cassandra Nova & AA Joker SR.

I'm not really liking this team, mainly because you're hampering the usefulness of Doppy by not using his Minion SP.

I'm trying to keep it modern age, and I don't have any DC figs outside of what I got from my DC 75th brick, so no joker of any sorts. Basically I want to keep it WoS if possible.

If you have Doppelganger I would definitely go w/ him. I ran this team against the F4 from the starter:

WoS Carnage
WoS Venom
WoS Toxin
WoS Doppelganger

Doppelganger & Carnage worked well together to take down Mr. F & Invisible Woman & Venom & Toxin double-teamed the Thing.

Add in there Anti-Venom for his nullifying abilities & it should be a fun team to play.

For a 300 Points team, I suggest you use Venom, Carnage and Toxin.
I played this team before, and worked out pretty well.

Which venom? I have both the normal AE version and the LE dark avengers version.

Use the AE one. So it will mak them a total of 297 points.
