Can't believe somone put a song from Looking In out here. I wore my first vinyl copy out years ago, and was lucky enough to find another almost mint copy. Yes, I have a CD also, but sometimes just love the watch the records go round and round.

Afraid to allow a program to "spawn the blocked window" to get around my pop-up blockers (mainly because I don't know what it means!), so haven't heard the Foghat version or found another yet.

I think you'll be all right. They just want you to buy the music from them. You're allowed 20 + free listens before you're cut off I think and you can hear the whole song which is only 3 + minutes long.

Having just listened to a few of these in a row, I really have to commend RE for the breadth of stuff he covers in these things. You really do get a little bit of everything which is nice.

And regarding your avatar (which I'm jealous of!!) did anyone ever cover any of the Captain Beyond stuff? I have the first two albums, a couple of my alltime favorites. I never thought to look, though. May have to this weekend.

Gotta go with the Foghat version. Not my favorite song, but I really did not enjoy the Savoy solo part at all.

All I know is...

I know I'm ripe and ready for baseball when reading "Savoy Brown" makes me think of "Bobby Savoy," the beloved bat boy in "The Natural" (as opposed to making me think of "Bobby Brown," the cardiologist and former New York Yankees third baseman...as opposed to "Bobby Brown," the, uh, singer/onetime hubby of Whitney Houston/sometimes jailbird...:cross-eye
